I can play all three roles and you punish my ability to do so by NEVER letting me play DPS?
What kind of matchmaking is this?
Shouldn’t someone willing to play tank or healer be rewarded with a DPS role at least every 50 games?
Hey Jeff, like to comment or too busy working on Oversmurf 2?

There’s no queue system that works like this as far as I know
You choosing all 3 of something doesn’t mean you’re ‘‘rewarded’’ with one of the roles(the game doesn’t know if you love DPS more than anything it just sees you’re willing to play it at that given time)
Support and Tank are always in demand so choosing those in succession with DPS will almost always give you Tank or Support

…and shouldn’t you be preferred in DPS queue at least ever 50th game, if you keep it running playing tank or healer?
I don’t even know how play DPS anymore.

It’s weird cause I’ve definitely gotten dps sometimes. But I only queue for dps and support, NEVER TANK. That may be why.

Tanks and healers are always more in demand. I don’t know what you expect.
If you want to play DPS sometimes just wait a bit longer and queue for DPS.

I queue for all three nearly every time. I’d estimate that the ratio that the game puts me in as is something like 10-1-2 (tank-damage-support) The DPS games are rare, but they do happen.
If you really want to play DPS that badly…you could just queue for dps and wait the extra 2 minutes in deathmatch?

That usually only happens when you get put into a game with a bunch of other people queued together and they needed one slot, from my experience.

If you queue for all 3, it simply means you’ll be put into the queue that becomes available first.
If you note, there’s 2 mins on tank, 10 on DPS, 3-4 on support… on average.
While there’s variances in expected time, the variances are such that getting DPS to be less than either tank OR support is such a rare occurrence that you’ll never get to play DPS under normal circumstances.
Only in the early mornings when the population is just low period do you stand a chance of playing DPS if you flex queue.
If you want to play DPS, I’d recommend playing a bunch of deathmatch.
QPC… play whatever the heck you want.

Well you actually have to queue for QPC. Deathmatch is what you click on while waiting to get into a game
Also my experience of QPC queue times is that it’s closer to damage queue waiting times… which sort of negates the point - you might as well just queue DPS!
Is it? I usually get a game every like… 3 minutes? Isn’t DPS queue like 10?
Don’t know! Guess I’ll have to play QPC more to find out. As a tank/support player, I only get the shortest queue times anyway.
Getting into a game as DPS normally takes me about 3-5 minutes. I can’t say I have ever waited over 7 and that is very rare. I have heard of people having to wait longer. *shrug
I wish they would open up skirmish as a playable thing not just when waiting. It is a better place to practice that the training and doesn’t count against you or your team mates.
Try it out. I mean sure you get 5DPS and one DPSupport, but hey… all the DPS you want!
Rolf. It’s kinda funny that you throw a fit when you probs even knew what you were doing & still get mad about it.
Sorry bud but threads like these cant be taken seriously.
It’s surprisingly quick today. Guess it depends on time of day (and player load)!
Sweet, I’ll get to be bad DPS for once!

By picking all three roles you are asking the game to give you anything. So it gives you the shortest time it can find.
I really don’t know what you expected. If you want to play DPS pick DPS, there are no shortcuts.
Also don’t bother Jeff, he has better things to do then to reply to some random forum user.
Honestly whenever I queue for just DPS, it rarely takes me more than five minutes to get into a game, whether in a group, without a group, quickplay, or competitive. Never seems to take too long at all.
Really? I’m 10-15 minutes at plat, EST, prime time during the week. I pretty much gave up on playing DPS.
