Stop checking ranks.
You see a high rank in QP and just leave? Thats so weak.
Also QP has the loosest matchmaking, its the whole point. Quick play is the “a quick low stakes match against pretty much whoever” mode.
If you want matchmaking closer to your skill level play ranked. Thats the whole point.
How do people not get this?

we had this talk already, tried one fight, seen their ranks, got was lost , simple
stupid point, as what you say after, neither in comp yopu play against ppl closer to your skill level. in low plat I got matched vs high diamonds, so not even close, not by an inch.
how you don’t get comp have the same identing loose mm?

See, this is where I’d put my post about grumpy as leavers being the biggest issue in the game and how they should be suspended for leaving excessively, but I got suspended for a week for sharing that concept.
Irony is as cruel as it is hilarious.

Profiles are on private by default, and typically high elo players have more privated profiles then low elo.

And you also need to account for smurfs, hero matchups, groups, communication, your lackluster attitude, their lackluster attitude, the fact that the mode is more casual and people are less obligated to try hard and maybe take into a few lucky shots from that good for nothing Handsoap. I assure you, there the chance of there being a big general skill gap is iffy at most.

Im tired of the whole “me being a punching bag” for high rank players. I mean they wouldn’t want to play against a hacked server which has 5 invincible NPCs, so the same goes for me. I do not want to play against a 5-stack of pros.
i wouldn’t want to fight against mike tyson in the boxing ring either.
I think what is going on is we have a take-over in progress and the teams that worked with Overwatch and their software are finding out its time to pack up their items and leave. So there is no active adjustment occuring.
It also does not help that the game is having to pick from a MASSIVE pool of players and the true players that are remaining are the ones whom are most skilled, this is due to the perception of where overwatch actually sits in numbers. One can only speculate that if the skill range is becoming too large of a gap. That there isn’t many casuals left playing.
And looking here at the forum posts of people that are complaining about leavers, these are players that are NOT casuals, they are Plats, diamonds and masters.

losing streaks suck but it seems to be part of the game. especially if the previous days you had big winning streaks lol. kind of wierd how that works
yesterday i had a 6 game losing streak won a few then lost 5. today isnt hot for me either. 6 game losing streak with the 6th game having an ana hacker

makes me wonder, i never check ranks or profiles since i go next and try to forget. never let a loss linger with me. im use to it tho since ive been playing since launch and i always have days where i win all the time where the next day i lose all the time and vice versa
always hover around 50/50. now that i think about it it was like a month ago where i clearly saw some GMs in my quickplay games since the title grand master challenger but who knows when they got that title or what season they got it
