Well he was a butler and she is kinda rude to him. So i guess she just uses him?

He was her familys butler growing up, so hes obviously loyal to her.

Shes rude to him because shes a rude person. Their relationship is probably just fine.

I think she cares about him a lot, but just doesnt show it bc of her tough exterior. Its also kinda like when youre a dick to your friends but they know youre just joking. I think she cares about him because her parents weren’t around and he looked after her growing up so she probably has a strong bond with him haha

Speaking of that Anjali Bhimani, Symmetra’s voice actor did a video with Ashe’s voice actor about a year earlier before this release.

B.O.B. is clearly a servant, as he doesn’t speak and only do what he’s told. He’s an old Omnic.

But ripped. I mean damn, I know that technically thats just Ashe continuously upgrading him but that Omnic is a hulking beast.

Judging by the origin story, Ashe’s parents probably set B.O.B to guard her while on business trips.

Isn’t it the case that Omnics aren’t like conventional robots, they aren’t made by humans according to a specific design, they effectively “evolve” from the self-sustaining onmic factories?

So if BoB is just a robot then he could just be programmed to do whatever his owner wants include, but then you’ll never have any emergent qualities, a robot only ever does exactly what it was designed to do. If BoB is an omnic then he’s a product of “machine evolution” so he has to have a reason to work with Ashe, something that ultimately ties back to his Omnic heritage.

I call BoB a “he” as he’s clearly an android, he’s trying to remind humans of an adult male human, but wisely staying on the safe side of the uncanny valley with an abstract design.
