So, how does Wrecking Ball called in your nonenglish language?

For fun - use google translator voice to hear

In russian he’s named “Таран” (https://translate.google.com/#ru/en/%D0%A2%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD) - which literally translates into battering ram

Hamster, it’s the same in german.

hamster in russian would be “хомяк” (homyak)

Bouldozer in french.

In German he is still called Wrecking Ball and im happy about it " Abrissbirne " would be more weird as a Name than Wreckin Ball xDD

Hammond.
20 chars lol

Rivekule would be the translated version in norway.

I haven’t thought of checking how he is named on the other languages. This may be interesting.

Lol, my parents emigrated from Russia and that word is usually only used to insult a foolish person when I hear them talk. :stuck_out_tongue:

Wurrekingu barru

Wrecking Ball means Sloop Kogel in Dutch.

Romanian:

If i use google translate, wrecking ball means “Mingea de demolări”.

In my own translation, i would say wrecking ball is “Bila distrugătoare”.

The first translation is refferencing the actual tool for demolitions, which is technically correct, but is the lamest thing ever so i preffer my version.

“Разрушителна топка” bulgarian, it means “destroyer ball” sounds weird

Bola de demolición on spanish (i did not use google for this)
