Is it if your entire team reports you you get banned? Because I’ve had a 5 stack of people calling me horrible things all report me and I’ve been suspended. I’ve been mass reported just for asking people to swap, do reports actually get reviewed?

Technically, if you ask for a review, they sort of review it; however, they rarely, if ever, reverse the suspension or provide any reasoning. In other words, they might as well not. As for how reports work? Nobody knows. You need a lot of reports in a short duration to be actioned against. I have seen the number range from 25 to 100.
If your entire team reports you, I am sure that sets off some sort of flag. But I doubt it is enough for action. You might already have had reports stockpiled prior to that incident.
I’ve a feeling this is gonna get closed or edited. If it vanishes. See you in a few days.
if people dont want you in game, you will be banned, no matter what you did, or didnt do…
numbers always win.

Good luck explaining that to the trigger-happy.

it’s true, strength in numbers , it’s been blizzards policy for years…a group of people can ban anyone, even if that group was just a hate group of any kind

It depends purely on numbers. Play 30 games a month, you never get banned, because you won’t encounter enough people to report you (unless you write racist stuff into chat or something else that can be easily verified by Blizz). Play 500 games a month, that’s 2500 random teammates. If 50-100 of those 2500 people don’t like you for whatever reason and decide to report you, your account gets suspended.
My post got edited, when I censored the words I’ve been called with no action taken, so they can edit the very very censored words, but they can’t do anything or have a response. That just blew my mind. They edited my post for a letter.
It’s possible.
The report system seems very lazy and is entirely automated.

Can we as a community excluding the psychopaths who use this flaw by blizzard to gang up on people and get them banned push this issue and get a response? Because now I’m angry that they will come in here and edit out what I said which was very very censored and I said just enough to let them know what I’ve been called but they won’t do anything to appeal 30 day bans. Because just like in the real world all you have to do in this game is either be in a stack of like minded individuals who all say horrible stuff to each other, or insta lock whatever you want and make your team lose as long as you’re not toxic, I am disgusted right now
It’s simple you get reported by a lot of peoples = ban.
No judge, no fair.
This is why one trick and off meta mains players are getting banned for only playing their heroes. Also a lot of streamers got banned because blizz don’t like rude peoples on the top of twitch.
You can be banned for almost everything. Just get reported a lot.
The best way to not get reported is always flexing (even if you are bad at the hero you’re flexing) and mute all chats.
If you don’t do that then you’ll get maybe banned.
Everyone know the report system is broken and is abused by toxics and angry cry babies. Anyway this game lack of life improvement.
Everyone know that if blizz doesn’t do anything for this year this game will gonna die.

I don’t understand how they expect a team game so reliant on team play full of boosters/ toxic people/ boosted people/ people with no commas/ throwers etc. to be not toxic ? You just reminded me XQC got banned for something he said on stream about his team mate but not to his team mate, blizz literally banned him for something that didn’t happen in game once
I also forgot that. Sending a ticket will never work.
Yeah basically… just don’t piss off an entire team of people and you’ll be fine. lol.
But it seems like reports are handled with a first-pass logic done completely by some set of logic that involves “volume of reports” and “history of reports”. I just send blank reports in now… I don’t even type a summary. Not.a.single.employee.reads.it.
Same, no need for putting anything into these damn report.
That’s really great. I’m really missing csgo when people were allowed to say whatever and instead of crying about it we utilized the mute button if it got out of hand
