Those queue time estimates have never been very accurate in my experience.
I’ve just sat in queue for support for 8 minutes 21 seconds (it was havana so an insta-leave but that’s besides the point).

In my m2 support lobbies my queue time is about a minute or two, with a max of 6 min if im playing at like 4 am
Idk, other people are also saying queues are longer than usual.
Sure, just establishing that those queue time estimates aren’t very reliable.
Its been horrible tonight. I have been in support Q for 15 mins now in QP solo
They’ve done nothing, there is just not enough players left in this game. If you play above dia/masters = ggs q time.
Surely it’s just a bug don’t worry in 2 weeks it will be fixed
The only time queues are long for me is if I’m in a 5 stack with friends. If I play solo it’s typically a minute or less. With friends we’ll sit there for nearly 10 minutes which makes me think blizz is actually trying to match stacks against stacks.
that’s how it was in OW1 endgame days.
I guess we’re back to those numbers. So much for OW2 success =/
It’s been over 10 minutes tonight in a QP 3 stack. And then the matchups are still crap. So… I rather have faster queue times than to spend more time in queue than in game.
or just solo/duo queue? a lot of people need a stack to ruin other people’s fun…
there isn’t even an LFG, so it’s to be expected that you wait.
just like the chairlifts at the ski resorts…express is for singles/solo.
stacking is trading quality for quantity → so to the wait line you go
game isn’t alive and well so everyone makes sacrifices i guess.
I wouldn’t say that… I just find this game pretty darn boring playing solo, so I always hop on with friends, not to make others have a bad time, but so that I can enjoy myself more.
Less people playing and some tank fixes have those wanting to DPS again. Going from 6 v 6 to 5 v 5 really changed Q times…
This is why I think open queue is always going to be superior considering it doesn’t suffer from this issue where any imbalance in the ratio can cause long queue times…
Could it be that Overwatch isn’t as popular as it was in the past?
Probably them trying to tighten the matchmaker. Everyone needs to understand that we can have fast queue times or good matchmaking but not both.
I’ve played with the same 2 people since OW1. Queue times had gotten a little worse last month… 3-5 minutes. But it’s like 10 minutes now. I prefer playing with friends - we’re not even playing seriously like calling shots or anything. Right now they are singing Celine Dion.
