he can run free all the map, bait reaper, bait mcree, one shoot both, and if hee gonna die, press q and kill 2 others support, amazingly broken hero.

zhit… did blizzard delete orisa, mei, sombra, roadhog and every doomfist counter while i was away? It must’ve been that # delete (hero) movement.

Doom should just be deleted… the world would be a much better place
Mcree can still mess him up and harass him, baiting is a skill match up situation, usually if you haven’t seen a doom uppercut yet you can make the call to hold off on the flash until he does and nail him.
Zarya barrier also easily denies him kills and screws with his momentum pretty hard. Not really anything he can do to Pharah either, so no fear for her. If I ever see a meteor strike I usually try to jump backwards away from the center so I don’t take as much damage and get bumped away from him.
Really while a good DF can be a beast, he’s just a character that requires your team to actually pay attention to what’s going on in a fight and not just simply ignore him.

DF is a character that punishes on ignorance. But once you actually become aware of him, or pick stun/hack/freeze/bubble/bastion/halt characters, he becomes a throw pick.
I main DF myself, and i can tell when i become useless.

Doom has more soft counters than any other hero in the game. His only true “hard counter” is Sombra since she’s the only one who can get consistent value against him. Others who can shut him down like Ana have a high chance of failure.
How many counters do you want me to list?
Tank: Orisa, Zarya, Hog.
DPS: Oh boy - Ashe, Widow, Hanzo, Mccree, Tracer (to a laughable extent, btw), Reaper (see what happens when you uppercut a decent Reaper), Symmetra turrets, Bastion, Junkrat, Sombra, Torb
Support: Mercy cannot be hit by him. Lucio literally cannot be hit by him if he stays on walls and can boop him when he dives destroying his combo and nullifying cooldowns. Moira cannot be hit by him if she uses Fade, which is on a cooldown luckily shorter than DF’s shift/E abilities. Ana can easily sleep DF if she uses her ears, and mid combo can panic nade nullifying Doom’s ability to finish.
In short, if you can’t counter Doomfist, it’s a you problem.
At this point, I would be embarrassed to complain about a lack of DF counters.

The 2 best tanks atm destroy him
Orisas kit is perfect for surviving and dealing with him and Its so easy to just wait for him to dive your support then hook him with roadhog. Thats without getting into the many dps counters like hanzo, widow, tracer, ashe, pharah, sombra etc.

Yeah that one is a bit suspect. If Doom dies to Soldier the Doom is probably actually just awful.
He does a pretty good amount of damage. And if he uppercuts me, I usually have Helix Rocket off cooldown to slam him with.

Reaper isn’t a Doomfist counter and McCree is only a soft counter.
His real counters are Hog and Sombra.
not how it works but whatever. I could just go with the classic “get good” but no one understands they’re bad i guess. It’s always the game’s fault or someone else’s fault even though doomfist is not mandatory pick in any rank. I think the most ironic part about this post is that the meta that exists today is legit 6 characters that all counter doomfist
