I know you’re not supposed to name shame people, but lately there is a certain player that I watch a lot of vids of because I’m trying to improve. So because of that I watch a lot of vids at 0.5x speed, and when you are watching it in slow-mo review, accidental presses of aim-lock keys or sudden bizarre movement is very easy to catch. I would never have caught it at normal speed.
The normal way to cheat with an aimbot is to normal flick with your hand and then press the aimlock button when the target is close to the reticule so that the last millimeter or two is corrected for, resulting in a headshot.
However, instead we have a high speed flick past the target and above, to a sudden snap back to the target’s head. I think they need to design algorithms to catch this kind of mistake. I could easily code something to catch this kind of mistake even without a neural network. Streamers aren’t perfect. Even if they are using an aimbot they will slip up. Corrections have to be within the limits of human reaction time. They also won’t do unnatural things like not moving to the target but going past and immediately snapping back faster than a human could even realize they were off target
They would rather just deny that anyone has every hacked in the game, including pro players and popular streamers then actually admit there is a cheating problem and issue a statement they are working on it. All they care about is the owl and nothing else.
I just had a trigger botting mccree in my last game, and the game 2 before that a widow aimbot. Its getting ridiculous now, almost csgo levels of cheating.

yeah I can understand that they don’t want to publicly admit how widespread cheating is especially at the top tier and among streamers. People will cheat for money.
But I assume they are working on it, and I wish I were part of the team working on it to be honest
Which streamer are you watching???
kid just wants attention just flame a streamer and all the forum frogs hop in weirdchamp
theres on problem with every Bliz game and its name is Bobby Kotic. Anytime you have a shrewd finance soul sucker at the wheel, thingsis going to dive. Especially when Blizz was acquired by activision, the model shifted from Art for a niche consumer to shovel bland BS to the masses and paid DLC. Pretty obvious by the whole diablo going to mobile, they are out of touch. Badly out of touch.
Back before digital downloads and Steam they used to call it “Poop in a box”.
