So I knew speed in this game was way off due to some games where I would be stomping and suddenly started dying instantly, but I just saw something that made no sense…
I was wraith form as reaper and juno projectile slowed down as if it was waiting for me to unwraith and hit me regardless of when I left the form…

And if cheaters can augment that stuff… why couldnt blizzard do it as an active anti stomp tool… which would make alot of sense as to why a game from 2016 is running like crud on ps5/high end PC with frames dropping like crazy…
with a lot of the ppl who make insane hackusations on the forums (ex: there’s one hacker each game on average) I just assume that they have 0 idea what human vs cheater aim and gamesense look like and move on, but this one is super interesting.
My main guess atm is a replay bug but i’ll look once i have access to my pc again, Did this happen more than once? Also back in the day, cheaters had access to workshop settings in game(like giga buffing hp, damage, flying around etc) it got patched but maybe it’s back?

I saw it in game… its why I posted this dude… Was like why is the orb slowing down… then as I unwraith… boom super fast speed.

It lost track of you when you went wraith form so just started going in a straight line at its slowest speed. And when you exited wraith you were still in it’s sight so it reacquired you as it’s target. Same thing happens when Sombra TP’s, if it loses her as a target when she goes invis they slow down like that, but if you can shoot her while invis they can reacquire her if shes still in LoS of the torpedo.

They are talking about the Pulsar Torpedoes. Though wrong about the Juno hacking.

I watched the replay, was super funny. It’s like they said the torpedo slows down mid air like a lost puppy. But that is how they work when they lose track of a target from certain abilities, namely wraith for this one. If they would have used the wraith to get out of LoS of the torpedo it wouldn’t have come at them when wraith ended, although it was a follow up Cass shot that killed them anyways.
I understand the orb tracking, what confused me was how the orb slowed down only during wraith… I thought they would travel the same speed regardless, and my thought process was to wait the orbs out … but they didnt travel as expected… and I have played miora and orbs dont randomly re target after fade.
Yea they don’t re-target to Fade and Recall for some reason, only wraith and translocator. Sym TP too, they will like 180 to chase you after going through a teleporter.
I think that’s just a bug, like when Hog’s hook would recall with Tracer.
