So battle pass pays for itself or not?

If not then its a scam, correct me if Iam wrong but in any f2p game with battlepass it was always enough to buy just 1 to have all passes later.

Shop can be expensive, but bp MUST give you atleast 1000, better 1500 coins.

I personally dont care much about spending on game 10 bucks every 2 months but its about principle, if all other game battle passes pay for itself and even give you bonus coins, this shouldnt be different and greedy…

Overwatch 2’s battle pass does not pay for itself. Not even close.

No, it doesn’t, do not purchase it unless you want to treat OW2 like it’s a Netflix subscription.

I’m not sure if we’re understanding that the phrase “pays for itself” means that it costs money but ultimately makes more money than the cost of using it.

Is it worth the money, though? Yeah, just like everyone else is saying, no.

If you grind out the weekly challenges every week you will be able to buy every other battlepass with a tiny bit left over. I think it’s like, 540 per season in coins or something?

The idea is that if you want to avoid hero locks you can grind your way through weekly challenges and get premium passes for free in season in which new heroes are released.

I mean, you won’t be able to do it for season 2 and this whole thing is dumb, but there you go.

and why the bundles never match the prices.
like skins cost 1900 but you can only buy 2000. that means for every skin you buy you lose one dollar amd it’s very hard to get your balance back to zero.

battlepasses are like bundles, they put one good thing and then a lot of trash to make it seem more palatable.
but in reality what you save in money is what you spend in time to complete.

You don’t get any currency from the BP like you would with CoD or Fortnite, so if you mean “Worth” as in monetary value then no, it’s not worth it, it doesn’t literally pay for itself like all BPs should.

Buy in only if you want instant access to the new character.
