So apparently Dva would be too weak with 450 hp

Meanwhile Zarya and Orisa have 400 hp AND

  1. No mobility
  2. No abilities on toggle or less than 8 seconds
  3. Huge hitboxes they can’t completely protect with toggle ability
  4. Not having their shield abilities on hand puts them in a vulnerable position
  5. Their ults take forever to charge and either need precision Russian coordination or they’re rather underwhelming and nowhere near as dramatic or properly credited as Bunny Bomb
  6. They have no second life
  7. They have pretty lengthy reload animations

While I can sympathize with the constant changes for Dva players to learn and relearn, giving her missiles was a mistake and she’s way too strong and giving her ACTUAL vulnerability might balance that out.

Forums: no but tracer look at tracer d.va isn’t the problem tracer is

Tracer isn’t less of a problem just cause D.Va is.

Go into a custom game and set her HP to 75%, that’s 450. See how good she is then and test it.

And if we could do decimals, go ahead and set her HP to 66.7% for 400.2. You can’t exactly get 400 hp by using the in game sliders, but go ahead and test that yourself.

Well Zarya and Orisa have smaller hit boxes then D.Va and their crit box is not center mass and the size of the moon.

Zarya is about a quarter of D.Va’s size and Orisa was given the longest range out of any of the Tanks to compensate for that fact. And both of them have smaller critboxes

They also don’t have a toggleable “screw your damage” button in front of their critboxes, and can’t simply turn around to avoid headshots.

Of cause they do… What do you think Orisa uses her shield and fortify and Zarya used her bubble for.

Sorry, wrong word, I meant generally up whenever.

it lasts 2 seconds…

Yes, and shots are instant.

Not that I’m defending Dva, but could you imagine Orisa or Zarya with 600 HP? That would not be pleasant.

Orisa and Zarya aren’t really in that bad of a place. It’s just dive tanks, especially Dva, are so much better because killing an enemy is far more effective for protecting an ally than doing that directly.

Because people can’t wait for the nerf tomorrow. Most players on this forum seem like they won’t be happy until their hero is the best and all others are sub-optimal

Most DVA mains would be happy with 450 hp, as long as it was all armor.

Zarya and Orisa have higher survivability than D.Va with the sole exception that both can be scattered out of existence, which is an ability which will be gone soon.

Zarya is small and 50% of her HP is shields.
Orisa has a 900 HP barrier every 8 seconds and incredible range for a tank. D.Va has 2 seconds of defense matrix and a critical hit box the size of the sun. Not to mention her meck shape is circular, meaning you can fit more bullets into her with heroes with circular spreads. (Tracer, Reaper, Roadhog, etc.) I’m not saying D.Va is bad. I’m saying her massive healthpool is justified.

I play Symmetra and Torbjorn. Tbh certain characters with a huge pickrate really do need to be brought down several pegs, while others need time to shine.

Orisa and Zarya aren’t jumping into the middle of the enemy team. D.va’s playstyle requires more durability than a Zarya hanging back with her team or an Orisa hiding behind her shield.

dva is already being nerfed

Are you freaking kidding me right now?? Reducing D.va’s health AT ALL after the hard nerf DM got??

Do this Blizzard, and I’m honestly out - I can’t take it. I love tf out of this game, and I’ve dealt with a lot of nerfs to various heroes that I thought were completely unnecessary, but this idea is so far into the realm of PURE STUPIDITY that if you even publicly entertained this idea…my god, I just can’t. This community I swear…bashes head into wall

Draco, come here, let me hug you!!!
This thread literally was about to cause my head to explode, but there you are, that beacon of COMMON FREAKING SENSE!!!
