on console we can’t change servers and I’m pretty sure the Middle East players are low. So even longer queue times? Heck fortnite has a Middle East server and each game only fills to 50-70s from my knowledge.
I also read somewhere that overwatch is connected to PS4 servers and regions don’t matter than much, is this true?
Not quite sure what this means. But I play on PS4 on EU and occasionally I get put on american servers/ have american people get placed in my games. I think it prioritises having people on the same server play together but if I’m playing higher ranked games late at night I think it places you on other servers sometimes to fill a lobby?
If so then that’s cool. I’m not really ready for a 20 mins queue for tanks/healers in the Middle East.

Yeah I don’t know how it works, I’d imagine it would prioritise keeping middle east players on middle east servers if they are going to be using them, but you’ll probably get EU players/ get put into EU games from time to time.
People are seeing a “Bahrain” server in the ptr that’s in the Middle East.
