Is nobody gonna address the fact that there are more smurfs in plat than plat players and it makes the game miserable for anyone trying to climb and its almost impossible without getting help from a smurf

The bigger problem honestly is blizzard allows road to bronze groups to continue in LFG. One year after itâs release to boot.

I was climbing from silver to gm, spent a year, I have 2 hands 1 head btw, and I had those smurfs aswell. If you think smurfs are affecting you it is poor mindset, long distance will grade all of issues.

not all of them are smurfs, a huge percentage of them are cheaters that make $$$ boosting accounts. there has been a very large influx of cheaters lately due to the announcement of the new anti-cheat system. these losers know that their days are numbered and are trying to make as much money as possible before the new patch comes out. (account boosting by cheating will no longer be profitable after the sr refund patch)

It is when you factor that players can buy however many accounts they want. I could be a Grand Master with 5 smurf accounts in Bronze and the system will still consider those accounts as separate players.

Whatâs sad is that they act like âOh well, they just so happened to end up in Bronze, but will quickly climb back to GM after 10 matches!â And obviously, the truth is that they threw all these matches in order to end up in Bronze, and all of these videos showcasing Bronze to GM attempts demonstrate that it takes hundreds of matches to climb even when players have a 99% win ratio. Those are thousands of players who got screwed over because one guy wants to make little videos for clicks and memes. Itâs like they just want to come up with whatever nonsense reasoning to justify allowing top level players buying more and more new accounts.

I think a lot of no flex-dps mains are artificially low in terms of SR because so many games get thrown when there are 5 dps, one DVA and no healers.
Hence after they lose 300 SR due to throwing games no flex once they get into a 2-2-2 they rofflestomp the other team, and the other team screams smurfs, gets mad and the whole other team goes dps because they think their dps are bad.

I have a suspicion there is a LOT of piloting going on as of late too. Itâs where a higher end player is given the password to the account and plays it themselves to boost it.
What about GM? Are there GM smurfs in GM?

Most people left playing this game are die hards and try hardsâŚthen for every 2-3 of those you have the too casuals or too badsâŚ
222 is going to benefit solo queing (i hope) sounds like it could.
Almost anyone in plat and up are tough
Most of the good players in mid-high plat (2700+) are solo queue dps or tank diamond mains with deflated sr from being in too many thrown games because every other game you have cry babies that just want to throw for kicks or idiots that naturally throw and donât even know it.

oh ya dude. i feel it completely all iâve seen is the ranks are exponential as hell. the difference between silver and gold vs diamond and masters is actually insanely small compared to the latter. basically i used to wanna make it to gm somehow but after seeing some low masters games. the game they are playing is mad punishing for the average mid diamond player.
