Yes the games have been especially bad the last couple of weeks. Dropped from 2700 to 2200 and the quality of games have been plummeting all this time. I’m support main and it just feels like tanking and supporting doesn’t have much impact right now. And it doesnt help that enemy McCree just happens to be 1800 when he was 3200 on dps not so long time ago

i have an old account that dropped from plat to low gold due to new event d/c bugs and trying to play on it when role q just launched, very bad idea.
the low gold games are rock hard compared to diamond games where i play on another account.
im actually using it as a training ground to get better since the games are harder.

In my qp games when I think someone on my team or the enemy team might be a GM I check their profile (if it’s not private) and about 50% of the time I’m right and the other 50% of the time they’re gold.

Yeah, low gold , high silver 1900+ is booster territory.
You get to play against diamond+ dps a lot.
It goes away once you hit 2200-2300 or so.
Its just bronzes paying for boosting to gold.

This is so sad. They are wasting money because they will drop back once when they start playing on their accounts after boost.

I’d trade their bronze account with mines 
To be honest i see why they would specially when they have been playing since beta and they cant claw their way out of bronze. And every game they play they get asked the dumb question: why is a X boarder still in bronze/silver?..cuz ya thats what will encourage them to play better…
Never will understand the mentality of some people in this game. Heck i have a plat boarder and i get asked why im in gold/plat still…ya cuz you know no one has any physical disabilitys/limitation or anything … but boosters are real and they make money so why not.

yeah you can tell there’s alot of players playing far better than you would expect. i cant really complain because technically i’m smurfing. maybe the matchmaker puts all the smurfs in the same games. i’ll give everyone the benefit of the doubt that they are just there by bad luck same as why my account is there. i feel bad for genuine noobs and gold players but i would reccomend to them that if they feel like they are consistently performing above average but the RNG is making it a hassle to climb just buy a cheap 2nd account and get a mmr reset. it’s much easier to place a fresh account where it should be than grind your way up on an old account. that is assuming they are actually good enough though and not just wishful thinking.

I think there’s a button that let’s you either quit the game or uninstall. Try it! It could possibly work and solve the problem that we have all faced in many of our games.
I’ve been playing around high gold-low plat recently and I haven’t seen very many obvious smurfs. Sure, I’ve seen lots of low level accounts, but they often don’t perform well enough to believe they are smurfs.
Literally every game.
I am hard pressed to believe that.
I sympathize with your frustration but there is NOT smurfs every game in gold. Take it from someone who resides in gold, that is definitely a frustrated embellishment.

ehh, I see a lot of new accounts playing well in gold, but I wouldn’t say they’re playing “smurf” well. Maybe “Alt” well. Pay attention to their positioning and general game sense. It’ll be obvious they have have high mechanical skills and dont’ know a thing about how to actually play the game beyond having good aim.
A lot of them make alts thinking they deserve to be in a higher rank due to their skill and a new account will place them there. The problem is higher mechanical skills will only take you so far. Eventually (usually high gold to Plat) diving into the back line of a team 6v1 will quit working for you because your opponents will stop being idiots and actually peel for their back line and you get pushed back down into gold rank.

It seems like players only think things happen to them, and not anyone on the opposite teams… ever.
