Smurfing should result in a hardware ban

Smurfing is like cra** or any other substance that one should never let in it’s body. The more a person enjoys it, the faster they will lose control and if the time comes when they need their brain for something, nope, no more brain there. Smurfs start to expect from other top500 the errors they took advantage of while playing on smurf accounts. But the healthy top500 will see in that smurf an easy kill.

No substances and no smurfing kids, both will damage your brain.

And those reasons are…?

Also, smurfing is bannable. It’s against their ToS. Even duoing with a known smurf can get you banned.

When did he say he played comp? I’m watching you have an argument with yourself right now

When did he say this? He never even claimed to play comp… that was the argument you were having with yourself a moment ago

Lmao he never said this either. Smurfs exist at all ranks in any situation. Ranked, QP, Bronze, even Diamond players get T500 smurfs sometimes. But I feel like you just wanted to slam your face on the keyboard as hard and angry as you could without any actual thought or care of what came out.

When talking about smurfs, you’re talking about comp. Can’t believe I needed to explain that. And he was literally talking about facing people that are above the level of the lobby. Lying because he doesn’t play comp. Get it now, buddy?

And they’re not common until Diamond, which was the point. Smurfs aren’t stopping anyone from climbing.

Educational content, the game being designed in a way that lets you do it, and the fact that it doesn’t actually hurt anything.

Deranking is bannable. Smurfing is objectively not. Look it up.

What? :joy: Are you gonna tell me the ~4% of players above Diamond are smurfing in Diamond lobbies more than the ~10% of Diamond players who smurf in the metal ranks? Unlikely.

So the high-level players who just bought a brand new account, play 50 games in low level QP lobbies, rolls basically every game isn’t smurfing? Smurfing is subjective when one player in a lobby is better than all other players, again, in any situation, QP or Comp. “Smurfing in gaming is a term that refers to a player using a secondary account in a video game to compete against less skilled players, either for fun or to intentionally ruin the experience for others.” Can’t believe I needed to look up the definition for you.

Oh okay, so a Gold player gets steamrolled by someone who knows way more fundamentals, but that’s right, they’re teaching the Gold player by rolling them, right? Let me ask you something… HOW does getting rolled by a single player way better than you going to teach you anything? You could watch them play, but is a Gold player going to look at a T500 smurf and know how to play like they did? No. Is the T500 smurf going to help the Gold player learn in any way shape or form? No. Get it now, buddy?

Wow, you were actually right about something! Except I had a buddy who got banned 8 times for smurfing, and another friend got permanently banned after the 8th time he did because she was duo’d with him. Literally had a 90% WR on every new account he made as a GM smurf in low-level lobbies, without ever making it to ranked. Blizzard can say whatever they want in their ToS, about literally anything, but reporting someone enough times will get them banned with or without actual cause. That’s the automatic ban system for you.
