As the title suggests i have a smurf account that is hard stuck in diamond, my peak sr on my main is 3980 and it is currently at 3830, i have over 100 games played on my main (ReformedJake) this season and i have maintained mid to high masters for the past 3 seasons. I have taken multiple accounts to masters in the past on almost every role and i would like to consider myself to be a decent player.
That being said, this account which i have played 155 games on as of this post is hardstuck at mid diamond, no matter how well i seem to play or how hard i pop off i always seem to lose on this account. I feel like almost every other game i play is heavily against me with the amount of leavers, 5dps and no mic comps that appear, after a few hours of grinding on this account with 0 progress i usually log into my main and on that account i perform well to a high masters level.
I don’t really know what to make of this, i find it hard to believe that i am just that unlucky and am genuinely just starting to believe that matchmaking at diamond level is just rng.
Well the most obvious difference is you changed your name from “Jake” to “God.” Clearly a divine entity is holding you back for your blasphemy.
Same. I’m about the same SR as you, but my alt is stuck in plat LUL. I can’t get it out to save my life. No one knows how to play around tanks.
My friend, I have witness an account in platinum that could not be taken out of even with a grandmaster smurf. There are accounts that get flagged to be stuck in elo hell, I am promising I am not trolling I am telling you the truth. Maybe you can think I am crazy but I am not lying to you.
Because the game tries too hard to force an even match, it doesn’t matter how well you play… you’ll start getting canceled out with a smurf on the other team or just horrible teammates.
Meaning Diamond is tougher for you than it is for a player who’s not as good. You see those random bad players doing stupid stuff? Yep, they get the easy mode diamond. You get Hard mode diamond.
Overwatch idiotic handicapping system.
Post a game or two somewhere, could be a multitude of different issues.
None of them being a flagged account or some sort of curse.
My friend, I know people who have accounts who cannot be ranked up by grandmaster players, I can prove this to anyone who would like to challenge. They will not, only excuses are made such as “it is against rules” or “you are trying to get boosted”. It is not even my accounts, this is the facts that people run away from.
How are you going to prove it? Would you like to give me your account so I can play on it?
Actually diamond is the worst tier as tou costantly find in:
- the most overwhelming smurfs with account lvl 25-100 f-c-ing the matchmaker with unbuilded mmr or a “fake” mmr due to purposely losing games cuz want to play with noob friends
- An incalcolable load of people abusing exploits and braindead heroes to raise their rating, suddenly starting to think they can tank or far worse, dps.
- A rasoneable amount of boosted accounts, actually under boosting or simply destroyng every match they touch cuz boosting is over.
- A huge load of good fps players that easily go diamond with dps, and they will never swap or being interested in teamplay
- The highest level of toxicity brought by the frustration of the INESISTENT match quality which lead to the last point,
- More ragequits and throwers.
I brought 3 accounts to mid master, i agree that it’s becoming harder the more this game go on compltely unfixed .
Sorry if I don’t cry you a river, but I hit diamond for the first time this season, and I have over 1,000 hours played on this account.
I have no sympathy or empathy for your hard-stuck smurf account.
He brings up a problem from his view, what he doesn’t seem to see is that everyone has this problem, and him creating second accounts is helping this problem. I have the same problem 
I got placed in silver as mid to high plat player and I got back to plat, but it was hard and placements were basically just dia and above against me or with me. So the low level sr is screwed and other Sr seems to be non functional too. Too much trying to compare stats
So you don’t have the same problem as you got back to where you were.
Yer don’t feel bad for you, self confessed smurfs should lose all entitlement to play comp.
I’ll take that challenge. I don’t have a lot of time to play these days but getting an account out of plat shouldn’t take me more than a couple of nights.
Play broken hero’s play around one tricks basically take in up the butt for randos on the net 
From my experience (4k peak now decaying) you just have to play differently in Platinum/Diamond than in Master/GM to win.
I mean I was stuck at 3400-3500 for about 120 games before breaking through and going all the way to GM. It can happen!
But generally, trying to play Support and Tank like I would in GM usually doesn’t win me games in Plat/Diamond environment. Chances are you play either too defensively, overestimating the enemy skill or too risky, underestimating the enemy skill.
Once you find the middle ground of calculated aggression and what heroes to play it’s not that hard anymore. To get out of Platinum/Diamond it was much easier for me playing Hammond and Zarya over Reinhardt or Orisa just as an example since you can do pretty much anything, from damage to stalling to capturing objectives and getting big ult value without much help.
If you can hold yourself that high on your main, it’s likely just that your play style is a little bit off when playing in that lower rank. 
I dont know if forced win streaks and lose streaks exist, but I do know that I had a massive win streak in the last couple of days climbing about 500 SR.
Last night I had 2 games with throw stacks one a 5 man and one a 3 man.
Today I had 2 games with a low plat+diamond booster duo on the enemy team and after that I legit got matched with people who went tripple dps and then proceeded to effectively int on them (I have no idea how to describe people differently who walk into the entirety of the enemy team one by one, for the entire game, defense on havana? Orisa me and Ana trying to start hold at the corner our Mei legit randomly walks into the enemy team on the payload 50+ meters away from us, basically almost in front of their spawn, dies ofc, then Cree walks in again about the same distance, and after he dies Doomfist goes in alone and dies

Im at around 2800 right now, I dont know or really care if I deserve diamond, but I know I dont deserve these games. Its 2800 I expect my teammates at the very least understand to not walk into the entire enemy team alone in front of their spawn. Its starting to feel a lot like im being forced to tank SR.
Give me acc stuck anywhere below plat and i will climb to plat. I will maybe even let you decide hero and record that as proof.
