After all these years, it boggles my mind how this issue is not fixed.
Every update, initializing is very slow.

Same here stuck arround 3-4 hours.
I Tried with selecting another region, selecting specific servers and a combination of this two but nothing seems to work.
I give up now and expecting that they rollback some of the hitbox/proyectile interactions becouse what I have seen in reddit seems to be the death sentence of the game.
