When first joining a game the frame rate drops massively and the game goes super slow. Takes about 1-3mins for it to stop and for my character and level to load in correctly. I end up missing the first part of the game.

I’m having the exact same issue. It seems to happen when I’m in a group. Restarting my ps5 fixes it for a little bit.

It stopped after a few days but now has re appeared. My friends have had the same thing also. Seems to be some bug that just randomly appears sometimes. I did uninstall but that didn’t work sadly, it just went on its ow. It now lasts a full game (and yes they’ll penalise you if you leave)

Check if a glitch made the game start multiple instances of the same program/app.
Then exit from the new instance.
It’s a bug that slows down your machine massively.
how do you do this on ps5 or is this a pc only option?

This is happening to me as well on a PS5 Pro in frame rate mode. This has happened randomly in past seasons but after the start of season 15 it’s been happening almost every match. i’ve already cleared the PS5’s cache and reinstalled the game.
