I mean, you either need to have pinpoint precision, or you are firing rockets for days with the little splash damage they do.
That or there should be a way to make her more viable without having a Mercy pocketing her, but also not make her OP when she has a Mercy pocketing her.
Something need to change, she just has too much counters against her at this point, and I do not think Heropools would change that.

How do they fix it?
There is this idea of putting GA on a separately balanced resource meter that only regens on ground. It could be balanced (total amount, spending & regen rates, GA cooldown) in such a way that Mercy could still fly to teammates pretty much exactly as before, but cannot indefinitely flap alongside Pharah ā nerfed Pharmacy ā Pharah could finally be buffed.
But good luck with suggesting any changes to Mercy without Mercy players throwing a fit

Pharah is a 100% throw pick vs hitscan, but also a 100% automatic win if they donāt have a hitscan. She needs both a buff and nerf: A rework.
I disagree, sheās very beatable by things like Mei, your own pharah, Hanzo, even a winston can do work. Also, if youāre able to hide from hitscan and ambush them, you still have a decent shot at the 1v1. I feel like she could use a small buff, like maybe 5 extra splash damage or a little more fuel, or even a shorter cooldown somewhere. But sheās got a decent niche on control maps and certain other maps, which is a good spot for her I feel
One of the most satisfying kills in the game is the mid air melee kill on Pharah while playing Lucio.

I never understood this. But I often hear people saying go phara to counter enemy phara.
Everytime I played the mirrored ffa deatchmatches with everyone on phara, there is just chaos and kills mostly by luck

Well they can cause distraction in the air, and if you can cheese out your mirror/are better than them, 2 directs in the air (you donāt even have to hit them in a row thanks to the fire rate buff she got a long time ago) and she ded. Itās not about killing mostly though, itās about the distraction.

No please. Pharmercy is too powerful and can easily 2v6 in the right circumstances. Until OW introduces heros that successfully occupy the air without being a throw pick or dominating, Pharah is the kind of hero that ought to stay in the trash can until further notice (take Sombra for example)
No. You already require too many people staring up in the air like idiots instead of at the other 4-5 people on the ground or on the objective. The fact that they ever let Pharah fly indefinitely astounds me to this day. Her mere existence cancels out so many of the characters that itās insane. You see a Pharah (even a bad one) and you have to 180 and go back to spawn to pick a direct counter or your team starts screaming at you.
