Skins Entering the Hero Gallery After a Year

Starting around I think Season 8, OW quietly gained a system of adding the skins that were around 6-7 seasons prior from the shop into the hero gallery. For example, in S8 we got the ability to purchase any Season 1-2 shop skin from then on and in Season 10 the same followed where 3-4’s became available to buy at any time.

Season 12 has begun which means any shop skins from season 5-6 should now be available to purchase. There’s no reason to break this system now, it’s one of the only anti-FOMO things we have in this game.

I like OW1s system better…where cosmetics would return the following year for a reduced price when the events rolled around again

And then during anniversary you could acquire ANY skin for any event

well yeah, I also prefer the system to have everything cheaper the following year. Though I’d rather drop the waiting until Anniversary thing and just keep what we have now where once they’re purchaseable in the hero gallery they stay that way from then on.
