Skill gaps since day 1

Blizzard should tune skill based matchmaking. If we’re at the same rank we should have a similarity in skill. Its crucial that dps outperform other dps or you lose. Skill matters. To me if there’s “skill” technically you abuse dumb mechanics. It’s always been a bad thing about overwatch. These issues tend to ruin the fun in comp.

While I’m a player who for sure prefers to play skillfully, I’m also on the train of

  • Work smarter, not harder

If you can cheese the enemy and collect free SR, then why not?

Being able to problem solve and develop game changing plays is just as much of a skill as practicing aim training.

  • Other players being bad at the game IS NOT my responsibility.

When you look at the Tier legend it even says in bl a ck and white that Bronze to Plat can be matched up or down 2 tiers. So Bronze could play with Gold, Silver with Plat and so on.

I do enjoy playing against players who are better than me. The inherent problem with that, is lets say a Plat DPS playing Soldier has outstanding aim, and the mostly Silver group has no clue how to counter that. So the Soldier is farming ult for a visor every other fight. Because of his Aim they have visor every other fight.

Not saying its always me, my team, or the other team. Every other game is this way.

I mean…. In general, losing a few games here and there ARE YOUR FAULT. Losing a few games here and there ARE YOUR TEAMS FAULT.

But over the course of a season of gameplay, your win/loss ratio is directly tied to your performance.

If you win more than you lose, there are some games that are luck because your team carried you.

But over the course of a season of gameplay, a positive win rate is indicative of individual performance.

But they said lobbies are rigged using mmr.
There isn’t a discussion about skill until the rigging is off the table.

Good ol receipts…

Back pushing your incorrectly worded propaganda again.

Hope you’ve at least enjoyed OW2
