- Replies determine discussion, where likes determine more of an echo chamber. Blizzard should care more about the former.
- Rein shatter has a dead spot for shatter on ptr, as far as I’m aware.
- Even with that fixed, he still has a lot of bugs remaining.
- My point is yes you see other discussion about Mercy, but the reverters tend to drown it out, which is unfair to others.
- Yes, this thread is just adding to an already large echo chamber, but I responded becuase I’m motivated to still try and change certain people’s views, becuase I want healthy debate.
Anything I missed?

Discussion is absolutely necessary. Likes do not necessarily mean there is an echo chamber. A post can have strong support while there is still healthy discussion inside the thread itself as well. They aren’t mutually exclusive.

I mean, I see nearly as many threads complaining about spam or people posting about spam even when the threads are different.
I don’t think they really drown out discussion unless you let them.
I think that’s totally fair. It’s really weird in these threads because I enjoy the character, both prerework and postrework. I just want to see the character in a healthy place like all characters. I’ll join mercy threads more often mostly because I have more experience with her.
I don’t actually think abilities like Valk are unfun. I think the concept of keeping rez as a baseline ability without any other requirements besides the CD is too good. Blizz has been having to break her kit apart just to make this one ability work which seems to me like a design flaw.

Bastion has a larger if not two threads not to mention fan clubs and that LGBT thread being larger. And that’s just off the top of my head. At least be honest.
This rework business is sadly out of hand. I think it would be a highly good time to post a developer update video, because of late 7 out of 10 post are about either why mercy is good at the moment, because they say she needed to be toned down. Well I don’t know who made her OP? maybe the devs, and not the Mercy mains. The second type of posts are why she is utter garbage. This is still somewhat false, I don’t like this direction with her, and I constantly switching of Mercy in favor of Ana or Moira, but she is still viable a lot of time.The remaining three post is about Brigitte.
And after started playing WoW recently and saw that every second fanart post in the forum has a blue flag. I understand that they have the capacity to answer if they wanted. But they don’t. And it’s paint a very dark picture on Overwatch. What we need is not a torjborn rework or an another rework for another hero. We need a direction and something that we can get behind. Maybe it’s not gonna be a Mercy rework but after the 13th nerf there are still a problem and It’s need to be addressed by the developers.
You know you can actually check what posts are the top on the forums, right? Click on forums, top, then “all time”.
Currently Titaniums post about Mercy’s state is the most upvoted post on the forums. So they’re not lying.
Oh, they’re going by upvotes? Because by other metrics it’s far smaller… I mean it’s big but far larger exist.
Why are the others more important? More comments doesn’t mean a lot of support. Likes means support. Meaning the most likes = the most support.

The other characters need to be looked at before Mercy.
It’s not fair Mercy gets all these changes and tweaks and the other heroes still have bugs from launch.
Ikr?!? Why does Mercy get to have 9 nerfs in a row and no other hero. so unfair!
the only thing i wanna say it…i find the irony of the whole thing hilarious…they said they wanted her to not just be a res bot [not exact words obviously]…yet that’s basically all she is now [tbh i’d rather pick zen for dmg boost cause that’s dmg boost for the entire team kind of]
didn’t jeff kaplan say like 2-3 days ago when someone said ‘stop nerfing mercy’, didn’t he say: ‘i think we’re done with her’ or something 
Nope! Jeff actually said “I think we are done.” as in, he was done talking to the person saying “stop nerfing mercy”. 
I’m pretty sure that’s a generalization.
You are free to think whatever you wish about them. As for me, I think they are making excellent points that would definitely need to be addressed. Here’s hoping!~

I honestly don’t see what’s so bad about a signature, if you don’t like it, just ignore it.
It sounds like you’re looking for something to be pissed about, or you’re just being annoyed by something incredibly trivial.
I’m pretty sure the CoC meant like if I said
“Mercy should be OP” 500 times after every post.
But he’s just signing his posts to make them look nicer. It’s not really worth using your flags on, imo it’s pretty petty.
But if it makes you feel better, go ahead and report every message they make I guess

I’m not sure why this is confusing people. It’s NOT a signature. There is no signature function in these forums (and if you research Discourse, it’s because forum signatures detract from threads and are by nature spammy). That is spam that is typed (pasted) by the user literally every single time he makes a post. And if I have flags available, I use them.
So yes, it is 100% absolutely spam.
