Perhaps they should give Hindered to another hero than just Cassidy. If not to an existing hero like Brigitte or Ramattra then perhaps an entirely new (preferably a support) hero.

Give Mei hinder on her beam and then turn Cass flashbang into hack to compensate

d.va, monkee, df, Reinhard would lose access to an entire ability just for beeing close.
mauga would not be able to use his run.

exo boost from bap.
tp and wall climb from kiriko
juno jump, shift (ring isn’t a mobility ability per se, not sure if that would still work.)
so many things would just be perma disabled once touched by mei.

Obviously you’d have to build it up like how it used to be when it stunlocked people in place. So you could reset the ticks by going out of range or putting your shield up etc
But overall it’s not a bad idea. Would make Dva and Rein players mald and that’s a big W

i was a tank main getting into ow2. and turned away because that 134 passives are stupid.

Hinder on DF might be too much, but I’d consider changing DF if it’s too brutal for him.
As for the others, they might have to respect and work around a close quarters DPS being dangerous. Apart from Mauga, all those tanks are doing well for themselves out there, they will be fine. As for Mauga, well, you’re not going to get any sympathy from me.
If any of these allow themselves to get hosed down by a Mei then they deserve what’s coming.
Hinder should only prevent charge and not cancel it, but all the same - Mei can do this right now without the need for Hinder. Stick an ice wall in front of Rein. Boom, charge interrupted.

Thanks. I’m only allowed to say “screw you” to one character at a time and Mauga was in the post so, y’know, my hands were tied.
For me the problem with CC’s to begin with was not them by themselves but rather the stun. That’s why Cassidy’s stun was replaced with hindered.
Sure. Why not? Maybe a support hero like Lynx 17. But by hack you mean silence.
