Blizzard wouldn’t give me a clear answer on whether or not “ez” is reportable after a game. So I decided to do something new. Whenever a game is a complete stomp, all I say is “Close game.” Nothing else. No name calling and I don’t reply to anything anyone says.
Let’s see if I get punished for saying “Close game”. Will report back.

“EZ” can be seen as trolling/poor sportsmanship.
“Close game” is more sportmanship-y and says that the enemy did their best and as did your team.
Point is; don’t be rude.
I seriously find it hilarious that people are surprised by “ez” being a reportable offense.

Now “GG EZ” means good game, easy. You took that sentence and removed the only polite part of it.

Again… At what point in my post did I say I got punished for saying ez? I opened a ticket to Blizzard asking them if “ez” is punishable. And they wouldn’t give me an answer. I was never punished for using it.
Don’t strawman me to avoid dealing with the point you can’t defeat. You’re here to rant about ez being reportable. If you wanna dance around that point, then that’s your choice. I pointed out why ez is reportable, do with that as you will.

If someone gets mad when you type ez in chat, they are what we call overly sensitive… I wish i knew, what went wrong in the human evolution in the past 30 years.
And btw, just type gg ez in chat, everybody knows what it means, even if it’s “censored”
I pity people that need to be sore winners, must be something seriously wrong in their lives for them to lash out like that. A person who is happy with their life has no desire to push others down when winning
Except that if the game was a stomp and you are on the winning side, it could easily be interpreted as mocking the enemy team. Context matters, not only the writen words.

You don’t even give us any context. Are we meant to know that you have been punished and what for? Why did you ask Blizzard if “ez” was bannable? Are we meant to read between the lines?
Most suspensions are automatic based on reports. If you are getting banned then you are probably being toxic. Just stop being horrible in game, problem solved. You are even being rude on the forums to Bogrim who only tried to help you.
Either way, it’s seen as rude and ‘inappropriate chat’ due to hostility/mocking mannerisms.
I started to report everyone who says something rude at the end of the match
