Change McCree’s “Combat Roll” ability:
- Pressing “Shift” will roll, and activate a 6 second timer
- McCree gets 2 more rolls over the next 6 seconds (Three total Combat Rolls)
- Each roll can reload, but only for a collective maximum of six bullets
*Example: 6 rounds in weapon, Fire 3 rounds -> Roll (Reloads, 3 left) -> Fire 2 rounds -> Roll (Reloads, 1 left) - > Fire 2 rounds -> Roll (Reloads only one round) - If McCree uses up all 6 reloaded rounds before the timer is up, he is still able to roll for a maximum of three rolls. The ability ends once either the timer is up, or he has used all three rolls.
*Example - FTH -> Roll (Reload all 6 rounds) -> FTH (Out of ammo) -> Roll -> Roll (End of skill) - Due to the reload being spread over a greater length of time, cooldown is reduced to 6 or 7 seconds
Result: McCree is able to reload just as much as before while still being able to deal the exact same amount of damage as before, but is now given a greater level of mobility and evasiveness that he can use. The short distance of the roll prevents him from being “Just another Tracer”, but still makes him more difficult to hit. This will make him more viable overall without actually making any significant changes to any other part of his kit.
