Healing a teammate (not overhealing) with Repair Pack activates Brigitte’s self healing Inspire at 10 hps.
This would give her more independence and let her self heal in the backline (since she can’t frontline anymore).

Brig is balanced. ‘Entry level’ low effort hero giving low returns. What’s the problem here?
All 31 heroes are designed to be played at all ranks. There are no “entry level” heroes that are only for beginners idk where you got that idea
Balanced? Are you kidding me!
Her kit is not designed for the nerfs she recieved. She is meant to be a frontline support, even her lore says it.
Now if she goes frontline she is instantly deleted with that paper shield and no healing for herself.
Those nerfs to her selfheal and shield were a tad too much.
You are the type of player that makes balance nearly impossible lol
I’m sure that person would love to be on a team of low returns considering you can pick any character at any rank.
Well I said entry level as a nice way of meaning braindead. Low skill hero giving low returns. She shouldn’t be as powerful as say Zen or Lucio.
Maybe have inspire also trigger when her shield breaks?
She’d have unlimited Inspire than. It would be OP
Best suggestion to have Inspire running all the time.
cue laugh track
That is a great idea but maybe inspire gives a 20% less healing than if she were to deal damage?
Why would the Developers use development time on heroes that are outclassed and don’t compete with heroes in their role?
I mean the problem would come once you start putting in more effort and are still getting out those low returns.
Overwatch is a game for everyone! The devs designed heroes so that people who suck at every game they play can still enjoy the game.
I mean I’m not sure how much effort you can actually put into playing Brig
Why have they redesigned Symmetra three times then?
She’s always been viable in low ranks and removing her lock on beam made her more difficult for beginners.
It’s almost like they balance for OWL and high ranks or something
That must be why almost all ultimate abilities require little skill to be effective.
I played Brigitte for a fair time of Support placements and some QP and there’s two things I generally thought she could use.
I actually use the barrier less than most, I guess. It’s only really an issue when trying to retreat which usually means I was out of position. But that doesn’t mean it couldn’t do with being increased a bit.
And Repair pack always seems to be 2s-ish away from a charge when I need it. I can understand how it may become a little bit too strong but there’s no way to tell until we try.
She’s certainly not as bad as I once thought but she’s just a bit awkward right now. Especially with a team who won’t be aggressive. (There’s been a few fights I’ve had to initiate myself. It’s a 6v3! Push!)
No clue I never said I was a dev. But there’s still heroes like Brig, Moira, Mercy, Torb, Bastion. Those heroes aren’t as powerful as more mechanically demanding heroes, but they are easier to play. Balanced.
But you gotta have some skill to build those ultimates, huh
