Silver rank player and I'm done playing Competitive

I dont know whats changed but I’ve been put with players that do not know how to play and/or against players (suspect wide groups of secondary accounts of high rank players) that absolutely dominate game after game. I’m not a great player. Im not even good, but i could hold my own in the Silver ranks and felt like i belonged there. Ive lost 6 ranks in the last 2 weeks and its gotten aggressively worse since se10 opened. Anyone else?

My young kid plays so I cant play with a mic and previously grouping up was with temporary with randos Ive run into. I spend money for him to get skins, etc and its bonding time with him, but he wants me to play competitive for him which was cool. I wont invest time in being unnecessarily frustrated because the balancing is poor or Blizzard is letting people that have no business playing bronze or silver run multiple accounts in comp.

I cant justify me playing if its clear Im repeatedly going against secondary accounts for really good players and the wide groups has made it significantly worse. Id like to see straight up solo games and avoid groups altogether. Unless and until that happens Ill just tell him we can play unranked.

when you face people of higher rank in your bracket - it is great opportunity to learn! if you give up that easy - it is just sad

I was wondering when you’d slip in your wide group complaint.

Nothing about your post or your account is even remotely believable, of course; because surely a good father would’t be violating the ToS and letting a young child play this game.

I dont mind going up against better players. I appreciate challenges. I do have an issue when its obvious the people im playing are absolutely dominating where game after game my entire team gets no kills.

you are just whining, you must overcome and lead your team to win. you are blaming the game when the reason you are loosin is you

If blizzard wants my money, they can fix the problem. I’m a busy dude. I dont need to play this game. He likes me to play it with him and Im happy to oblige, but I cant justify the exepnse of money or time if they are going not have a balancing option and no other solutions than cheating trying to compete with these dudes. Which is what some people will do when they permit this nonsense.

I can just divert that money to Fortnite for him and go about my business.
