Silenced account for stating the obvious

Lol my account was silenced until 11/10 because apparently i told my team how terrible they were and someone got their fluffy feelings hurt. If you lost a 5v4 match and you are on my team with 5 players and you cant win with an obvious advantage you suck. Im proud of my silence status.

Good to see you’re still talking absolute nonsense.

Yet you keep playing, engaging and spending .

Snallpackage you still living on these Forums, I thought you would have touched some grass at some point.

You cannot still deny the MM is horrendous.

What’s the match maker got to do with anything here, other than attention seekers trying to shoehorn it into everything.

Thread is toxic player upset they got silenced for being toxic.

The only appropriate response is “you got what you deserved”

In the small amount I’ve played this season, I’ve not seen anything to suggest thats the case.

People are solo queueing into wide match games. Bronze to Masters for example.

Everything, OP made it clear its the frustration caused by the matchmaking.

Ok.

You can be “frustrated” by whatever you want. Still not an excuse for being toxic in game.

You sound insufferable if you think that people playing badly gives you the right to be extremely rude to other people. If you got silenced from telling people off, it certainly had to happen enough for you to get that status.

Yes, it’s frustrating. At the end of the day though, it’s just a video game. And given the track record of how people have been silenced and banned lately, I do think it’s additionally unwise to be rude to other players. If you’re that frustrated, perhaps you shouldn’t be playing anymore video games for the day.

The person who said that happened said it was open queue though, which has a much smaller player base than role queue. Also this person may be frustrated, yes, but that doesn’t give them a license to be rude to other players about it.

Calling a trashcan a trashcan isn’t toxic. People want to get their feelings hurt over nothing. Why? Because too many people give into those that want to be overly sensitive. Get over it. If you are playing bad, and someone says you are playing bad stop getting butt hurt.

Go cry a river somewhere else. If you don’t want to hear what someone has to say or what someone has to type then you don’t have to. When you have to ability to NOT hear it and read it then use it.

Amen to that piece of truth

Lol. And you wonder why you were actioned…

Ah yes, the classic it’s your fault you were abused. You should have ignored it.

Maybe you should ignore the gameplay you deem bad and just crack on then… Works both ways.

I mostly agree with this. The only issue I have is when people say I’m playing bad they are only right about 50% of the time. Another 25% I am doing fine/pulling my weight and the other 25% I am actually doing by far the most work of anyone on my team.

I’m not sure you know what a Karen is with that reply. But you’ve basically proven my point, go you!! You should be so proud of yourself. <33 Awe so cute.

Name calling is toxic. Also calling people names is probably the least interesting way you can interact with someone you don’t like. Talk about basic.

Indeed, couldn’t the same be said for you?

If you don’t want to get banned for toxicity, couldn’t you just not type it out? You have the ability to NOT type it out and press enter.

I dont think many players posess that ability lol

This.

They’ve had the time to think, type, and think again… They STILL decided to press enter.

It’s not “heat of the moment”. It’s a calculated and toxic attack on another player.

It doesn’t have to be a “toxic attack” to get reported and have action taken against you. Simply responding to to anyone’s toxic comments can and will get you reported. It’s best to just turn chat and VC off. Almost nothing useful is said there.

Right because calling people out for terrible gameplay is abuse. That is a high horse you are on. Can anything in voice or text be toxic? Yes without a doubt it can go too far, but people getting upset for being called out for terrible gameplay is not toxic. Do I call people out for bad gameplay? Yes. If I have a rein who is charging into a team out of los for our supports I say something. If we have a monkey that tries to dive a pocketed bastion and gets burned down numerous times I say something. That is not toxic.

Bad gameplay is obvious. I personally won’t say anything if it happens once or twice. I only say something when it something that has happened several times. I strictly play compo in hopes of better team work, but there are still a lot of people trolling in comp, and point that out to the ones trolling should not be deemed toxic.

I understand people have bad games. I don’t call it out. I ask them to pick a hero they are comfortable on and we will make it work. Should that be deemed toxic as well? Where is that line drawn? If you are trolling a game by playing poorly on purpose…yes it is your fault something was said to you. If as a tank you had a support that was not healing and just dpsing you would be annoyed, because you are not getting the resources that the hero selection should be using to help your team.

You know there are people that do that. If your team is winning that would be fine, but if you team is losing something should change. Maybe get a widow that thinks front lining is better, or a ball that refuses to roll, or a rein that just sits on the payload with a shield. Something needs to be said. and yes I have had this in my games before. People are too sensitive nowadays and need to get over it.

Oh bad games happen. I don’t call out people for a bad game. I call out terrible game play that happens numerous times. We all have off games. Even the best players do, but there is a difference between a bad game and making the same terrible choice over, and over, and over again.

Yes some name calling is well beyond the line, but if someone calls you a goober in game are you getting offended? Probably not, and if you do that is on you. Calling someone a goober is not toxic. I personally don’t call anyone names for their gameplay. It’s a game, but you getting offended for someone pointing out something that is obvious to everyone should not be my concern.

So what is toxic? Pointing out mistakes someone makes multiple times a game? Saying someone should swap heroes? Or just name calling and insulting people?

Why would you respond… Seems silly.

But if you’re getting actioned. It’s because you been reported in a lot of matches. It would be highly unlikely (nearly impossible) you’re complete innocent at that point.

I think the problem is, you put OW on some sort of pedestal in your head.

So when something isn’t to your liking you get frustrated because you think everything should be better.

Take a deep breath, remember it’s just a video game and play.

If it’s annoying you so much you can’t stay calm. Do something else.

Don’t take it out of others. They don’t care, and have no time for someone throwing toys out of the pram
