I’ve started to play Sigma and I gotta say I love him.
His primary is awesome to use and his barrier is really noice
But something I have to say as a “”""""“Sigma Main”"""""", his boulder not being counted as a projectile is pretty dumb and needs changing
What do I mean?
I mean the fact that it ignores D.va’s DM, Genji’s reflect and Sigmas Succ shouldnt be a thing.
If Fire Strike, a ball of non solid fire, can be reflected, a boulder should also be.
BuT THatS juST mY oPiNIon, wHAt Do yOU GUys THinK??
Genji can reflect fire, a rocket powered hammer, Moira’s weird orbs, and a 2 ton mech flying into him at 30mph and punching in the chops, a rock should be nothing.
DM not eating it was a surprise, but, it’s a little big to disintegrate I guess.
ah but it stuns, its like how genji cant deflect shield bash or rocket punch… not really sure why it ignores sigma’s succ and defense matrix tho… too big i guess lol
That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense either.
Botom line is, i think it’s okay to have exceptions.
Hook is another one of said exceptions. At most, Gengu should be able to ‘‘parry’’ it like he does with Roadhog’s hook.
I agree with your point. I was mostly just pointing out how silly some of the realism arguments can be when you look at a lot of stuff in the game.
I’m totally fine with the rock being an exception, has a long CD and a sufficiently long cast time. There’s no need to then also give it even more counters.
It’s an exception. Kinda like how immortality field and mei’s Snowball Ult look like they would behave exactly the same but one’s a reflect-able projectile and the other has health
Both literally toss out something that hits the ground and then levitates with an aoe
It’s a balance thing. If you guys need ingame logic to explain it just think about how it is manipulated with gravity magic which makes it unable to be absorbed or deflected.
woah woah woah, you guys don’t really expect genji to be able to deflect a slow moving rock, right?
molten metal and sound waves sure, but rocks? does he look like a miracle worker?
