PS4 user here, I cant access PTR. What are some bad things about Sigma that make him counterable (aside from not wearing shoes)?

All of his attacks are splash damage, so getting in close kind bums his day since he’ll be hurting himself.

From what I’ve heard, it’s his lack of mobility, dive can wreck him and his shield can break easily if not properly managed
And if one is not careful when activating the Ult, he can be an easy target to shoot down
Also his primary fire maxes out at mid range 
Does he float like zen? Does it make for a big hitbox?
Most of his attacks have a fair amount of wind up, so speed can also run all over him.
he’s very huge, so it’s really easy to knock him away. I swore I saw reinhardt knock him off the cliff without touching him because his hitbox was huge.

That fact that he’s barely been on PTR so no one has any meaningful amount of experience with him.
I’d say that’s his biggest weakness.
Is his shield redeployment speed enough to proyect him from say a Tracer?
he has the lowet amount of health out of any tank in the game, primary fire is limited to medium range before exploding and requires a large amount aim skill along with his accretion. Kinetic grasp is useful for deleting ults but barely rewards any shield when used successfully.
For a little bit. Long enough for teammates to get to him, but tracer will get him through attrition with enough time.
So probably not so much in solo queue where people aren’t as talkative. If you have communication I’d say he’s alright.

Beams and Sombra are the main things that come to mind for counters
Range. His primary has a 20 m limit, so long range is bad for him. And being really close is also bad because his attacks do splash damage and he can take self damage. He’s slow, so his only escape is his ult actually. He’s also weak to melee and beam attacks specifically.
beam weapons. I think Sym, Zarya, Winston and Moira are good counters. He can’t stop there beams with his grasp. Sym can also charge up against his shield.
I’m PS4 too. Just basing this on all the videos i’ve seen. Anything that doesn’t double in damage in Baptiste’s ULT, you can use against Sigma.
Thank you all for the great info thus far! Still curious tho… how are cooldowns? Can he cast a shield at 1 shield or is it a cooldown? Ult charge? Is the DVA/zarya hybrid barrier like old or new DVA?
it’s like rein’s shield, he can use it any time and goes on cooldown if it breaks, its health recovers when it’s is not being used. cooldowns for accretion and kinetic grasp are way too long, 10 seconds for accretion and 15 for kinetic grasp. His ult charges nicely fast though.
He hates Beam like weapons and Dive.
