So am i the only one curious as to why he can not be stunned out of it?
he can be slept idk what you are talking about… maybe make a clip of the situation?
you have the replay system…
You have to stun him before he selects a space to use it. Once the ground lights up it’s too late. Basically you need to CC him the second you hear him.

i had a situation where he started ulting my team (his voice line started) but we were not in the air yet, then i got a hook on him and his voice line stopped (“the universe is singing to…”).
i didn’t kill him, but he sure got stunned mid ult.
after that, we were all thrown up in the air and slammed back down.
i think this should be the same as when you hook pharah… the voice line is interrupted and the ultimate gets canceled.
I’ve noticed that once he’s started it, even if you move out from where you were, it’ll drag you back in, and that killing him seems to be the only thing that stops it.
The stun/hack/sleep/etc needs to occur before Sigma chooses the location of his ultimate.
Otherwise, Sigma’s ultimate still goes through.
