(Sigma Shoes) I worked in a high security psych ward

And patients are not allowed shoes. They ones allowed to walk around are given socks with rubber pads on the bottoms. The one restrained to beds did not get socks unless being monitored while walking around. Not all hospitals are the same.

A shoeless Sigma is fine but a heavy armored shoeless character still looks dumb.

Thank you for that wonderful info.

I’m actually kind of enjoying how uncomfortable the look is making everyone. It looks OFF and he’s supposed to be off.

It’s like the character is unstable/insane or something.
You may be onto something here…

Have you ever broken someone out of a highly secured government institution to manipulate them into using their supernatural powers gained by a failed experiment gone wrong for your own benifit though?

… cause I dunno the uniform for that or the standards.

the artist behind sigma confirmed this, they said it “helped sell” that he was mentally ill. patients are allowed shoes because they could use the shoelaces to harm themselves

Are they allowed to wear full body armor?
Just cheaking.

Not sandals but close enought.

I mean sure my inner esthete is quite displeased with fully armored character not having shoes. But it is minor thing… also we didn’t saw his cosmetics yet…

Meeehh.
He’ll probably have skins with shoes.
I think the lack of shoes is kinda… odd. But then he is intended to be odd.

It’s fine. People need to stop being so worked up over something so small. If that is all, then it’s better to just shrug it off and accept it as part of the character.

But like, why does he need shoes anyway when he can float? It doesn’t make sense

Why he need armor, if he dont need to protect his legs from bullets?
This make no sense

Yes, I agree.
Hammond was considered weird, too in the beginning.

And now it’s pretty normal, to see a cat-sized hamster rolling around in a killer-mech.

How do you feel about the design of the hero in terms of the stereotypes that it reinforces about the mentally ill?

To be less cold, I guess? But really, armour means nothing in this game if Widow can go around in a bikini. It’s just strange that people are upset about a floating hero not wearing shoes
