I’m happy that Sigma was chosen for the next popcorn image! I will be posting progress images here over the next few days and taking suggestions. I am not the best artist, so please be kind with your criticisms
Current Progress:
Sketch #1
Sketch #2
I’ve decided to go with Sigma’s lab coat outfit because I feel like it’s an under represented form of him (and I really like the design.) I’ll be working on his shoulder area because I don’t think it’s quite right yet (the mans got some serious shoulder gains!) I’ve also fixed his baby hands.
This was suggested but I couldn’t get the machines to look right, my artistic ability is lacking so I decided to compromise and still go with floating popcorn everywhere.
Do you guys think Sigma eats buttered popcorn or kettle corn? Ha
Oh, also I forgot to mention I will take suggestions if people believe certain things should be changed! I’d like this to be a community project as much as possible c:
yeah, i mean when i look at sigma face, i see he’s trying to say " i’m an handsome guy" which is not exactly the right situation as much as i could tell. so i would suggest something like this:
ht tps: //imgu r.c om/RdQBSkb
don’t focus too much on detail, just take in consideration the point of view and a little bit the pose (not too much tho)
or the same pose and concept u drew, but with his head facing the popcorn he’s about to eat
something like this (only the head):

Sigma has a more serious expression, but making him maybe laughing at a comedy movie would be good? Just a suggestion though, it would show us another side of his persona. Other than that his hands are a bit small and his head is more bigger than his hands xD
After fiddling with the pose for a few hours, I’ve concluded that the request you have isn’t possible because on the current perspective the popcorn is behind him and you can’t turn your head that direction. What I can do is completely redraw the entire perspective/pose.
I have a pose program and every way I attempted to replicate what you suggested just wasn’t possible. I’ll find a middle ground but with the current perspective/pose it is physically impossible to turn your head in that direction comfortably.
I have been trying to practice on more dynamic poses rather than flat images. I feel if I rotate it, it will sort of defeat that purpose but I will if it looks bad. As far as his arm, it’s flat right now but with shading, ect, it will make more sense!
