Sigma + orisa needed a hotfix

no way… this meta is so strong , low effort and to opressive…

why some seasons ago, the bastion meta received a hotfix on one week, but this double meta needs more than two months to get some changes???

blizzard, fix you GAME!

Because Bastion was living through D.Va bombs without a barrier probably while also dealing 450 dps

Would they rework Orisa’s barrier to be like Rein’s or Sigma’s? Like press E to deploy, press E again to call it back, the barrier only restores itself when not deployed and they set a cool down before calling it back so it keeps its stationary style?

How about making the other tanks viable first before actually nerfing the only two tanks that can survive the amount of DPS being thrown around right now.

This is how long Orisa’s shield lasts against two damage heroes. You want to put a Roadhog or a D.va in there?

I’m always curious why players complain about heroes when they are all available to both teams. A hero is OP? So what? It’s an advantage both teams have access to and therefore is not an advantage.

I would posit that the problem isn’t that any particular heroes or meta are OP and/or unbalanced, but rather that the current meta makes it difficult for you personally to play the heroes you like in the manner you prefer. While this is not an ideal situation, it is hardly something ‘broken’ about the game.

can you give us your phone number, need you to explain your “just play the game 4head” theory to my team mates.

lol buff zarya and reinhart?? WHY DONT BUFF ALL HEROS ON THE GAME AND WE PLAY A INSTA KILL AND MASS SHIELD SIMULATOR?

This is the crux of the issue. If you’re against a Rein or a Sigma, you’re gonna get an opening eventually. Orisa can refresh her barrier through damage so you can’t break it, and even if you do break it then you’ve only got a few seconds until there’s a new one at full health.

I watched the clip, there’s already a Roadhog in there.

are you crazy?

you think that i will play overwatch to play a low effort and bored meta like double shield?

win the match is important, but get fun and get better skills is a lot more important.

also i dont want play the same heros all the matchs.

Viable doesn’t necessarily mean a buff for those specific heroes. Prior to the goats nerfs, shield strength was irrelevant since everyone just kept walking through full health shields, especially reinhardt. The armor and mobility nerfs (Lucio, D.va, Brigitte, etc.) stopped that from happening. Nerfing them didn’t just lower their uptime, it removed them completely since they stopped getting picked at all.

I meant if you had a Roadhog instead of Orisa. That’s Junkrat and Roadhog shooting at the shield and taking ti down near instantly. 900 damage in three seconds would kill even Roadhog.

I honestly think that when we had Rein as the only character with legit shield, things were fine and balanced. They added more characters with shield, people like it for a short time then developers thought oops we screwed up. It’s the shield that is killing the game not doom or reaper. How do you fix shield!

Well as huge as Hog is, he’s not a giant static target like an Orisa barrier so there’s no reason to think he’d take 900 damage in 3 seconds

Lower the damage output of Sigma.

Why was it a bad idea to run comps like… Rein/Winston/Orisa+Rein/Winston/Orisa? Low to inconsistent damage output.

An off-tank was durable enough and threw out enough damage to make it hard for two barriers to really keep up.

Sigma has an off-tank’s damage effect with a barrier.

Why are we talking about their damage? I play Hanzo, Widow, McCree I see shield from a distance, it doesn’t get destroyed. Even if we destroy one, they can easily generate it or place another shield.

Widow , hanzo and mcree are other problrm on ow… they have to many insta kills potential and they needs more weakness. Especially hanzo and widow.

Overwatch cant be a insta kill/shield simulator
