Should There Be A Mercy Rework?

Just curious. Because the state Mercy in is seems abysmal and shows no sign of changing. Maybe a rework could help, you know, like one was supposed to for Torb and Sym.

Yes, Mercy needs a rework that replaces Valkyrie with a more impactful ultimate. Resurrect would be a great choice.

I would like to see one, eventually.

She’s not in the worse spot right now, since she can be used somewhat, usually just to pocket.

But she is a bit of a mess by design. She’s suppose to be this mobile and constant healer…

Yet everything in her kit just takes so much time to be effective to the ENTIRE team. And in games where matches are so fast, a hero that needs time to be effective to the team is going to be left in the dust.

Either a rework, or big changes to res and valk (Not just numbers as we’ve seen so far).

I just don’t think her rework was successful at all.

Resurrect to be taken away as an ability on a cool down. It needs to tied to Valk or Earned.

If they’re not going to revert their genius rework, then at least they should try a new one. Everything about Mercy 2.0 is a miserable failure.

I just want Rez to be replaced with a CC-clearing ability.
Then I’d stop my whinging about her and join the legions of people complaining about Brigitte instead. (Or maybe not, since there’d now be a solid counter to her bash).

I’d love them to just… get rid of res, but unfortunately it seems they’re adamant to keep it. I hope that doesn’t mean the current iteration of res will remain as is.

Yes, a rework would be the best possibility for addressing a lot of the actual complaints about her

Down the line, when other heroes and issues have been addressed, I think another rework to address the “fun” for some people would be alright.

I don’t think it’s a priority and I dont think massively shifting things when it comes to support balance rn is wise imo.

I never really played Mercy myself, but based on like, a good 1 or 2 matches…

I didn’t have fun.
