NO. Should they have a breast cancer awareness donation skin every year? YES. With DIFFERENT characters each year. Think of the possibilities, big Pink Reinhardt, Pink Genji… Pink Mercy was only $15. Legendary skins nowadays go for around $26. I could see donating $30 for breast cancer awareness and getting a cool pink skin. That is what should happen, but Pink Mercy being made available again? No, let’s make it special EVERY year.

I would also be very much in favor of the return of Mercy piink with the same old methods and previous prices (perhaps encouraging the purchase with the addition of new characters). 
The problem? the Mercy-waifu community that writes OBSESSIVELY about this skin from time to time. 
it seems to me that the more we insist on her return, the more we create the situation of the child who cries, screams, hits and collapses on his parents to buy him their favorite toy. The ways in which the return of this skin is requested are delusional, and every now and then the idea scares me that if this skin is returned, the thought that passes is “then this is what it takes: complaining and crying forever (even by vandalizing the arguments) to get exactly what we want”.
I repeat, there would be nothing wrong with the return of this skin… but it is the community itself that has made the return of certain exclusive skins particularly toxic and they use absolutely nonsense arguments on the “don’t you want to do good with the new charity? then you are discriminating against women”. the very simple sincerity that it would be nice to see that skin again instead of using certain false pretext arguments would be enough.

Like I said in my original comment, the “Pink Mercy” should NEVER be available again. Going forward they should do it once a year with DIFFERENT characters. It would be good for the community and breast cancer research.

I agree, a new Pink skin for charity would be great. Definitely not the Mercy one though. That one had it’s chance and people who own it is like their little “I was there” token.
About 820K people donated to the charity and got the Mercy skin, which was awesome.
Now if they brought a brand new pink hero skin that would mean that absolutely no one has it and are more likely to donate.
But then the same people will come in and say “there’s no reason why they can’t bring back the Pink Mercy skin because they already have it in the game and they wouldn’t have to make anything new and it would be so much easier for them blah blah blah…”
I never got grandmasters top 500 icons, they’re in the game, should I be able to get it now even though I never played ranked but I still want it so why can’t they just give it to me?! Same with the Bastion Blizzcon skin, I never went, but I deserve to get it right?
I think the biggest challenge would be getting a charity to work with them after all the ActiBlizz scandals.Esp since this is an issue related to women in most cases.

The concept of donating for charity, but gaining something in return is a word I can’t be saying on these forums.
A lot of OWL skins, who were marketed the same way, and were legacy skins, were brought back. Doomfist’s SF Charge skin which was labeled “time limited” as well, ended up being re-released 3 times after that.
But we should play favorites for the Pink Mercy, yeah?
I have a ton of OWL skins, I have Noire Widow, and literally all the Blizzcon skins. I wouldn’t mind if they were re-released. People getting them won’t really stop me from using these skins.
They’re slowly getting people to work with them again, like that Korean glasses company and that silly D.Va skin
Yeah, the OWL skins, Blizz is getting the money for those, of course they’re going to release them again, if they can put more money in their pockets why wouldn’t they?
If Doomfists SF Charge skin came back during a charity event, do you think they’d make more money on that skin or a brand new Doomfist skin that no one has? I just think they should keep some things in the vault and roll out something new for everyone to partake in (charity) and enjoy.
