Hello everyone, so not too long ago I made a post on why Roadhog should be semi reverted back to how he used to be. However, instead of me suggesting a full revert, I made some changes so that he will be more skill based.
My version of the changes :
Take a breather :
Roadhog can no longer move whilst taking a breather
Roadhog no longer has 50% damage reduction
Chain Hook :
Roadhog’s chain hook will now not greatly reduce the target’s momentum
Roadhog’s chain hook cooldown will begin after target has been pulled
Delay before pulling in a hooked target increased from 0.3 to 0.5 seconds
Chain Hook’s hitbox decreased by (insert percentage)
Cool down increased from 8 to 10 seconds
Scrap Gun :
Pellet damage increased from 7 to 8
Weapon Recovery increased from .85 to 1
Ammo reduced from 5 to 4
Weapon Spread Increased by 20%
So I made a few changes from my last post. I added the spread change so that all the pellets from his gun won’t be concentrated on the tanks’ head hitboxes, rather some will hit the body. This will make it so that he can’t instantly nuke tanks after the hook follow up and while shooting normally. I also added that the cooldown of the hook will begin after the hook pulls in an enemy so he doesn’t instantly lose his hook when he gets stunned.
