Should hack remove Brig's passive?

Yes or No? And why?
Please be nice to each other

Anti-Nade does prevent her from receiving healing from her passive for the debuff’s duration already.

Yeah I think it’s weird that hack gets rid of Lucio’s aoe healing but not Brig’s.

Oh sorry. I forgot lol
Thanks for reminding!

Hack probably SHOULD prevent it, but if it did it would be an inconsistency with how hack works. Making things incosistent (blizz has done this with a few abilities recently) isn’t very good design. All the same, when sombra gets the hack of on a brig it should be rewarded by shutting down that passive.

Its because its activated indirectly by hitting people

While Lucio is a direct effect from his Healing and Speed song which is an ability

To be honest, a better analog would be something like Wall-climb or Wall-ride. Cross-fade, though an aura, is technically an ability; Brigitte’s Inspire is a passive, just like Wall-climb, Wall-ride, Regeneration, or Opportunist.

During the hayday of dive, the devs felt it was reasonable for Sombra to make people’s cybernetic legs suddenly stop working, skates unable to grip vertical surfaces, and greying mercenaries forget how to run, but this was never quite applied universally. Not all passives are affected – usually just the movement or escape tools among them. Though, all abilities certainly are. As Inspire is a passive, it’s thus far escaped the complete and utter shutdown of Hack.

Eh… I still think it should. I also think hack should eliminate Reaper lifesteal and Mercy slow fall but…

The problem is Lucio is too impacted by hack, not that Brig is not impacted enough. Lucio’s current song should keep playing.

Weird, im sure every time i hack Mercy she falls flat to the ground

Maybe someone can confirm this?

I vote no as it’s an on hit weapon proc like reapers lifesteal (regardless of yes or no these should be treated the same) not a passive. I think there’s only two on hit effects in the game thus far though so it’s not a very familiar concept…

Yes
because lucio cant heal when hacked and that is not fun but brig can and that is also not fun valve pls fix

Overwatch wiki says Angelic Descent is affected so… I guess I’m wrong. Though it says the ability is immediately canceled/ended early, I thought that as long as you were holding spacebar down, it would continue.

Yeh I still think that he should just get stuck on a song rather than have nothing except his crappy gun…

His weapon its actually quite deadly if you can aim with it

I think it should remove the ability to proc it, but not the heal itself.

In other words, she can not refresh the heal while hacked, but hack does not cancel whatever heals are already active, sorta like Zen’s Orb or Ana’s grenade, which have lingering buffs, even when EMP’d.

I mean, Torbs weapon is deadly if you can aim with it but, like Lucio, it’s not very good relative to most other weapons in the game. Bother rely heavily on their other abilities to fill out their kits/do their job.
