Most likely which is why I was correcting him, the past tends to bunch itself up in peoples minds and cause us to misremember
Being a close quarters specialist doesnât mean he should get free value by simply existing in a certain range. There should still be a certain level of mechanical skill to land your shots.
With the current state of tanks(shield tanks, more specifically) waiting for them is not always possible or useful. The shields get shredded way too fast. And after thayâre gone just would just (assuming they increase the size) unleash an un missable barage of nades at the choke, forcing the enemy to either die or retreat.
You cannot simply buff his projectile size without touching any other part of his kit. If you wanât more area coverege you have to either sacrafice the damage or the projectile speed.
The hero doesnât always need to be the best choice, he just needs to be viable. If Hanzo and other op heroes are nerfed you should be able to pick junk without putting your team at a disadvantage. Buffing heroes so they can specifically otshine others is a bad idea since it will do nothing but contribute to power creep.
Again, shields are irrelevant here. Tracers job used to be killing the backline. There are no shields there most of the time and if there are, she can bling through them. She cannot however burst through all the self sustain and survive the stuns and 1 shots.
Thatâs just wrong. Brig is in her most balanced state yet. Her healing is on par with anaâs, she has decent sustain, a stun, a boop and most importantly she can give armor to teammates. Armor alone is more than enough to stop tracer as it effectively cuts her damage in half. Not to mention that it can prevent most 1 shots in the game. Also, her cc can easily keep flankers and dive tanks off your backline.
Saying that brig is bad is simply dishonest. People doing so are either being purposely misleading or are unable to adapt to her new playstyle.
That was exactly my point all along. The heroes arenât weak. They are victims of power creep. Newly added/changed heroes are just too good at everything - cc/ damage/ healling/ susain etc. All that and they more often than not require way less mastery and overall effort to play. Making the older heroes, that were previosly strong, useless.
A hero doesnât need to be a part of a dominant meta to be a victim of power creep. Both tracer and junk have been affected by it, albeit in various degrees.
I am not a widow main
Just play her a lot in qp but my actual main is zarya
He is literally one of the least OP characters in the game, I think you just had a bad experience or youâre just a bit salty
Only part I donât like about junkrat is his primary fire + mine combo. I want that to be nerfed but everyone on the forums will shut me down lol
I kinda want them to nerf his concussion mines damage, but give him the ability to charge his left clicks for more distance and a more direct arc of travel. Would add some more skill into his kit, and prevent players from just relying on the nade mine combo for kills.
