Does anybody know how the rotation of the “for you” items in the shop work?
I’ve been watching it for the past weeks now and it seems like it prefers giving out skins for my most played characters (zenyatta).
Am I imagining things or is this actually what’s going on?
(PS: I wanna get the witch kiriko skin, that’s why I have a look at the shop everyday. Gonna be interesting for how long I’m gonna be doing this. xD)
Edit: If anyone is still reading this, I found the answer.
In their article about the changes introduced with overwatch 2, blizzard wrote that the just for you part of the shop will show items for the heroes you like to play. For the first few seasons this will be restricted to heroes from overwatch 1 for everyone to “catch up” or something.

I honestly dont really know how it works. For me, I always get Orisas puppy emote, The undead McCree skin, conductor reinhardt skin, and either moiras ice queen skin or a banner. Now, i play a lot of those characters and i think it does give you character cosmetics based on how much you play a certain hero. Ive been trying to play other heros for different items to pop up, but no luck yet, ive had the same cosmetics in that section for a few days now
yes this is how it works unless you have all the items for him and in that case it just offers you other stuff that you are missing.
Don’t expect the new content to be released there until much later.
Stop wasting your money on overpriced skins.
At launch it just kept recommending me “cheap” no bundles to get the Halloween bastion skin which was 1 of i think 4 skins that i was missing from ow1
Oh, but if you look at the skin in the heroes menu it says sometimes available in the shop
To be honest ive been watching the “for you” in my shop waiting and waiting for Lifeweavers Cleric skin to rotate in with no luck at all. Ive been playing him for a few weeks now and i just keep getting one of Kirikos bundles. Granted i mained her since she had released but then really got attached to Weaver and have been playimg him since. You would think the store would realize ive switched mains and would offer me some other options for him

Some days ago, I got the Witch Kiriko skin in the just for you section, and the HL intro was there in a separate box/tab.
