Hi, I have tried a few things and can’t get the yellow new tag over the shop to go away. I’ve hovered over every item in the shop, in every tab, and still it shows there’s a new item.
I’ve relaunched the game just to double check that wasn’t it either.
I’m hoping this is a bug and not just how the game is now.

Wonder how long, if ever, the devs bother to respond?
Came here looking for an answer because that notification that won’t go away is really effing annoying. Apparently they don’t care. “It’s a feature not a bug!”
i have the same problem. i think it has something to do with the notification of OWL coins not being able to be purchased later on. That’s the only thing that i click on in the shop that says NEW and never goes away :\
Same problem for MONTHS and it seems to be connected with OWL skins - come on just drop em already
I have the same problem & for me it seems to also come from the Overwatch League tab. There is a “New!” icon next to “Featured” that does not go away, even after clicking the “OWL Tokens will no longer be sold” headline.
please god fix this, it’s like a phone notification you can never get rid of. Actually anxiety inducing
It’s getting really annoying now. I hoped the new season would fix it, but nope… it’s still there. It seems to be related to the Overwatch League section of the shop for me. It says “New” at the top, but nothing in there is new or unopened. The store isn’t updated at all; it still has the message “OWL TOKEN WILL NO LONGER BE SOLD AFTER DEC. 9” from last year. This small indie company doesn’t seem to care about bugs, just making money.
