Once again I’ve bought an item from the in game shop and over 12 hours later nothing has arrived.
This time I can excuse it due to the popularity of the pink mercy skin.
However if you want users to continue spending money the items need to be instantly given or near instantly.
Whenever I have bought credits to top up my account I have always had to wait hours for them to actually appear. Maybe sometimes I don’t want to play a game and buy the skin I want and come back later?
I can’t think of any other live service game that delays your purchase or requires remedies such as playing a game or multiple just for your purchase to show up.

It can take upto 24 hours for the transaction to go through. It’s the same with any in-game shop anywhere, unless you use in-game currency.
It’s the real money transaction that takes some time

The Octopus Lucio bundle has also been removed from the shop. I was planning to buy this, as the bundle of skin + 1000 coins is the same price as just 1000 coins so the skin is “free”
Mine goes through instantly. This should not happen in online shops.
It has to do with your bank and how they deal with the purchases as well as your internet conbection and how busy blizzard is.
And even 2 purchases 5 minutes apart might go through at different times. One takes a minute and the other 20 hours.
That’s just something that happens online.
well, we have two types of cards here in my country (or even more) - one is your normal card you recieve payment on, the other one is credit card you can “loan” money from and pay it back. This credit card is also card, that most foreign services, Blizz included takes as their payment option only. So far this card always did instant payments everywhere. It´s th e first “normal” card, that takes longer to process here usualy.
The two purchases i alluded to (5 minutes and 20 hours) were both bought with the same card, by the same person, on the same account, using the same computer, attached to the same internet by the same cable.
The other one just took longer to go through. It’s normal for any internet payment.
That´s wild. If my partner and I did the same purchase and he got his skin instantly and I would have to wait 20 hours, I would probably crawl through the chimney xD
And as i said. These were purchases by a single person.
There has always been wild variation in how quick payments go through, in general things have sped up but there can be slow ones in between.
chck your transactions on your account management if it does appear contact customer service they should be able to fix your problem i think
They won’t help until 24 hours have passed. It says so in support’s FaQ.
Tbh, they helped me before 24 hours ran out, when I had problem with free Widow Meduza skin for reward for xbox BP.
(than it took just 5 different GMs to solve the problem, but that´s another story xD)
