Rein isn’t too strong, Shatter is just a weird looking ult that should really be updated to properly represent its hitbox.
Show your players things such as
—does it go up walls or not?
—why did this barrier block it when this other one didn’t?
—why can I sometimes just jump over it?
This is good for EVERYONE. Rein, his team, and the enemy team.
Please just make it look like how it feels.

Because of the lack of visuals, a lot of bugs still exist that people don’t recognize, so fix those as well.
Also, please, a little consistency with how it interacts with the payload. Can he shatter through a payload or not? Depends entirely on the map and payload position lol

Last night I had a shatter blocked by a shield that I could not see on my screen. Apparently the shield was cutting through my body, behind the origin point of my visuals, but in front of where the Shatter cone must originate.
I think my team thought I was just bad when I wondered allowed in comms how my shatter (that would have claimed 4 enemies including their Rein) hadn’t hit.
Then their Rein’s play at the same time, showing my shatter being blocked by a shield that was on the wrong side of my hammer, was play of the game. Glorious.
I saved it at least.

Didn’t they change the visuals a while back from a clear cone that clearly didnt match the hitbox to this so no one actually can tell how big the hitbox is anymore? lol
One of my biggest hates about this game is the complete lack of transparency from the devs in hitboxe sizes and damage numbers.

I should probably make my own thread for this, but here we go:

I know right?!?!? I can never tell if I’m safe or not.
They did change them a while back. It was more stylish but didn’t address the issue of shatter not looking correct.
Honestly it should really just be a wave. So it can be seen and we can know how to avoid it.
The actual cracks on the ground should be just a stylized effect.
