ShareX and Parsec both not working for Overwatch anymore?

I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this. It’s kinda bug but I also need technical support hahaha.

As the title states, they’ve both worked for a long time. My girlfriend’s computer is awful and she uses the program parsec to connect to my PC remotely and play off of it. She normally does window HS only or mystery heros, no harm done. I was off eating dinner as she was on my PC and suddenly the screen turned black. She could tab out and view the rest of my PC fine but only Overwatch was black. A little rummaging around led me to the conclusion that it was Overwatch’s anti-cheat. ShareX can no longer take screenshots of Overwatch now. I have a ton of screenshots of chat and other funny glitches and things that happen during my games, but now they all just appear as black screens!

I guess my issue is how I can solve this problem? If it’s worked for so long and just recently stopped working, how could I get it going again? Any input is appreciated

If something triggers anti-cheat, I think the only solution would be to find another program that doesn’t. They may have changed something in their code that causes this, and you could reach out to the creator of the app and ask about it. Your other option is to open a ticket and ask staff directly about the matter.

Parsec handles framedata directly from the gpu buffers and encodes them inorder to reduce the video latency. Blizzard anti-cheat see this and blocks the process from accessing the framedata.
Blizzard doesn’t like cloud gaming or game streaming (streaming a game to another platform) in general, it says so in their user agreement.

If anything blizzard should whitelist parsec and allow it to work, since it’s not malicious or a cheating application, but that’s not going to happen.
There’s nothing you can really do at this point.
