I’ve done really well as Lucio in FFA, my best game was 20 kills 1 death :))
Does being a pro Lucio make people get booped further? Because some of those people went flying, and they weren’t even in the air.
I just practiced the boop physics in Practice Range until I have it down by instinct. I know how to send them exactly where I want them to go.

Can the distance they get booped really be controlled? I know you can look above then to knock them upwards, but that obviously allows them to air-control back to safety.
That combined with your own positioning plays an effect. I am usually above my opponent meaning the angle of my boop is different compared to if I were on the ground.
So you have to aim the boop in a way that takes that into consideration.
On top of that timing your boop with specific abilities/animations plays a part as well. Booping a rolling McCree will launch them even more, booping Orisa while she reloads gets more movement (since firing decreases her movement). Same for booping D.Va while she isn’t firing.
My fav. is booping a Winston who is mid-jump. to put him in a location he didn’t intend. Sometimes just off the map entirely.
But the most realistic thing you can do is boop people into a corner so they have limited movement and can easily take damage. This is most effective on Tracers as it limits where they can blink and makes their movement more predictable.
Definitely agree on this. It is rather satisfying to boop someone into a corner and hit your entire burst!

May not seem like much to a lot of people, but this is every Doomfist player’s dream. This happened just a few days ago in a comp match. This Pharah was t-bagging me the few times he killed me, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. One of the most satisfying things to do in Overwatch, if you ask me! xD
