We all know the meme, we all agree that it was a Doomfist intro.
The fact that Mercy got it makes me confirm my believe who is pulling the strings on Overwatch only look at numbers…
“Mercy players are more likely to buy stuff → we give her the intro”
Edit: Not to mention we’ll never see the intro in game, because Mercy never gets POTG, AND… seeing it on a Doomfist play would be so much more fun.
We knew this already. People buy more things for tracer mercy and kiriko

It would be completely out of character for Doomfist. It should have gone to Brig.
I would lose it so hard if that upcoming Venture skin is actually just Kiriko wearing Venture’s outfit. The suzu is a rock 
The shaking cat will be scared away by Doomfist.
Plus, Doomfist already has a Serval.
He got a cat highlight intro last season as well as a Bastet skin (that was at the end of the battle pass).
As much as I might agree with you it could be out of character (for OW1), I don’t think the game gives a crap about that anymore.

Doomfist’s dancing intro is pretty out of character already
But then it wouldnt of sold half as much. Mercy Mafia are strong
Its like Reaper’s shrug, out ofcharacter but fun, its the type of thing the reverberate across plataforms and tie the comunity together.
