I keep getting disconnected from the game, I log back and immediately get back into the menu.
I know its not my internet for two reasons: I keep a twitch stream open to see if my internet is failing (the stream would freeze and start loading) or the game wouldn’t let me reconnect right away (which in this case I can)
It just started happening today and in some rank games I’ve had people tell me the game is also disconnecting them and failing to get them into games when looking for a match. This is becoming really annoying as just now, in the last round of a comp game to decide the winner, I got disconnected, had to log back in, reentered the match and then before I could even get back to point I got immediately disconnected again, having to log in again. This costed me the game, I can’t keep playing comp like this not only because I risk loosing my games for this, but because I could get banned

I had the same problem, you could try this blizzard article (Overwatch 2 Disconnection Problems - Blizzard Support) or if you did try it already/it didnt work you can check my post If you get randomly disconnected and nothing works which helped me. Tell me if you need help with it.

I just now had the same issue with ranked games. People on both teams just randomly started disconnecting one by one and then I got disconnected. The screen proceeds to show “In-Queue: 60 players ahead of you”. There is also no record of the match itself, which I am glad I wasn’t penalized but I am also annoyed because we were probably going to win that game.

I have that too right now. My friend says he’s been DC’d twice in five minutes.
I’m getting 60-200 players in queue during a ranked match. Our entire game got kicked one player after another. Are the servers down?
Same issue as reported. Been DC’d twice in 10 mins, now stuck in the login queue stating there’s 50 players ahead of me.
Same over here- constantly thrown back into queue (disconnected from server) every time it says “Game Found!”, after being booted from a match initally. This is frustrating. Americas servers are what I’m currently playing on. Unsure if europe and asia servers are having the issue as well.
Must be an Overwatch issue. My friends on Battlenet are still in Diablo games and Wow.
I just got a season 15 comp ban for this. Like right now, I’m looking at the screen 7000 people in cue. This is about the 3/4th time
I am experiencing the same issue as all of you because the server suddenly lost connection and proceeded with "In Queue - 20-60 Players Ahead of You.
Confirmed they’re experiencing a DDoS attack. 
I’m going to wait a while for it to be resolved.
7000 people here too. Apparently servers are going down HARD.
Considering how much they’re charging for the collab skins, I’d expect them to at least keep the game working. But apparently Bobby Kotick wasn’t the problem, because Overwatch is still overcharging and underdelivering. It’s actually embarrassing to see Microsoft not fixing this bs.
I don’t understand why they don’t migrate away from the old servers and into Microsoft’s cloud which has good DDOS protection. Again and again, when ow is doing positive things, the DDOS’s come. There are still serious issues within the ow2 technical team.
Don’t. If they’re worth their pay, the SysAdmins and DevOps on call should be able to fix it properly regardless of players (I’ve always managed to do it no problem), and they need regular server load to confirm everything’s stable.
Isn’t this the third ddos attack in the last month? Everything was fine and then perks go live and suddenly it happens three times. I was doing really well in comp too today. This is so ridiculous.

Morvork Rovols was suppose to destroy this game, but with 6v6, many players have returned to ow. Ow1 was just too good to be true. Rovols is being pumped on twitch, someone or some company out there has a contract to destroy ow completely. Thing is it’s hard to destroy a game that went gold before beta. . DDOS or whatever was happening seems to have stopped. Anyway, glhf everyone!
Hi all, there was a DDoS attack on Blizzard’s servers roughly an hour and a few minutes ago. They’re mitigating the attack, so things should be back to normal now.
If you’re having connection problems outside that window, working through the connection troubleshooting steps may help.

It’s happening again, a ddos on this level costs a pretty penny. I hope blizzard and microsoft see’s they have a golden goose called Overwatch and someone is trying to kill it.
If you can’t beat your competitions product quality, DDOS them instead.
I hope blizzard does an unban grace period, again a ddos on this level will leave thousands of accounts banned. it will also put a dent into match making database and it’ll be a ripple effect for days weeks, you’ll probably get really really bad match making until it normalizes. anyway, 6v6 is amazing, it’s drawing back manyyy people from around the world and i know someone at the other company doesn’t like this.
