I’m playing from Turkey and since yesterday my games starts with 1500-2000ms latency. A few days ago there were no problems and I could play without any problem. Right now my brother and I ( we share same Wi-Fi) having this problem. We both checked the router and talked with our internet provider. There are no any connection problems. Also this problem is Overwatch only. It doesnt happen in any another games. Then, I tried to use Battle.net launcher (I was using Steam) and problem still happening. I tried to change a lot of ethernet settings and still getting 1000-2000 range latency. Sometimes while I’m checking the latency in practice range, the game connects me with Sydney server with 350-400 latency. But most awkwardly I’m getting high latency on Amsterdam server. I believe this problem is a server related issue. I hope this problem will be solved as soon as possible. Thank you
The servers don’t have any effect on your latency, your route to the server does, which Blizzard does not control. Additionally, Blizzard no longer investigates individual connection concerns, they advise discussing those issues with your ISP.

Well I guess I just tried every possible changes. I even talked with my ISP and got my router factory resetted by them. Still, I’m having 1500-2000ms on ams1 servers. I don’t know what else to do. But I believe connecting me to Sydney server or Saudia Arabia (gmec2) from Western Turkiye is not my ISP’s problem. While trying to find some helping topics online, I found that a lot of posts like this were posted time to time and they all complain problems about same server which is ams1. I guess there is nothing to do on behalf of myself. I will just sit and wait for a miracle. Maybe one day it’ll be fixed by itself.
