My friend and I both experience high ping when we queue together for any game modes outside of the workshop. We both play on PC and only live about 3 hours away from each other (based in NE US) within the same state but we end up being put in servers that are based in SA, occasionally Russia and even Japan.
We don’t experience any issues when we queue by ourselves, just when we queue together.
