So after the update I was able to login just fine. I start a Stadium match and during round 2 the game just randomly disconnects and puts me in a que. This truly is a great start to a new season. I love nothing more than not only my time being wasted during a match in progress, but also not even being able to play the game. I think I’ll go play something else.
“In que, 20 players ahead of you.”
5 minutes later…
“In que 80 players ahead of you.”
Yea I’m over it.
Why wouls ANYONE go comp during the update day, when servers are most unstable?
Because it worked fine just a few hours before. What kind of post is this? “Why are you playing the game when you didn’t know the servers were unstable until after you played the game?”
With your logic, why even play during update day? Why even update? Why even think about the game?
It’s a well known fact in the last 9 years that it’s super risky to play comp on update days.
And ten times as risky when the season changes or a seasonal arcade mode is added or removed.

Every single season update - we have long queues and falling servers, them messing up and fixing stuff. Everyone knows that.
That´s what I meant.
Yeah this is pretty standard for new seasons and big releases now. Somehow they never seem to learn or put measures in place.
I was stuck in a queue earlier and gave up (EU console). I’ve just tried again and 20,000 ahead of me. Guess I’ll play tomorrow.
And it happened again. Just had a support on each team d/c at the same time and about a minute later I d/c too and thrown back to the login screen with a que. The game is literally booting players in game right now and throwing them into a que. This is by far the worst update this game has ever had.
